Adventures & tours

Learn a little about Aruba's early inhabitants on a self-guided tour of the impressive National Archaeological Museum Aruba, housed in historic Dutch colonial buildings downtown.

The Aruba Historical Museum, in Oranjestad's oldest structure, Fort Zoutman, built in the late 1700s, shows how the island's first settlers lived and worked.

One hundred years ago, aloe was the island's most profitable export. Today, it remains one of the most successful crops. Take a tour through the Aruba Aloe Museum & Factory, where fresh aloe is made into personal-care products, available for purchase in the gift shop.

The Numismatic Museum showcases money from around the world. Two private museums are open by appointment: the Aruba Antiquity Museum of island antiques and the Aruba Model Trains Museum.
