This park is the island's premiere natural attraction. Covering more than 1,854 acres of land, lakes, mangrove swamps and coastline, Parque Natural El Bagá occupies the former site of Cayo Coco's first airport. In fact, the control tower is still standing and is the first thing you see when you enter!

Here, guides take visitors on a three-hour tour showcasing the birds, iguanas, jutias (tree rats) and crocodiles that populate the park. There's even a hands-on experience that includes the opportunity to handle a live crocodile. Ask a tourism rep at your resort for more info on hours and days of operation.
