    Amazing Honeymoon experience

    We visited in September 2020 for our Honeymoon, we could not have asked for better quality and COVID safety than this amazing hotel. The facilities were spotless and the staff were amazing and accommodating. With their sister hotel restaurants closed, they made the most of the wonderful chefs they had and changed the menu daily, all food was delicious and no request was out of bounds for them. The overall staff from the front desk, restaurant and bar service was personal and so welcoming, the staff made our trip so warm and fun. Thank you for making our Honeymoon and first trip to Barbados so special, we will definitely be returning.

    Had an amazing week at the waves Barbados lovely upgraded room comfy bed spotlessly clean room plus hotel excellent hotel staff from beach to waiting staff chefs everyone just awesome meals from breakfast through lunch plus snacks to dinner just excellent wine beer and cocktails lovely beach great water activities cant praise the hotel enough please all stay safe keep up the great work will definitely return soon oops sorry forgot the girls in the spa and massage rooms girlfriend just loved this

    We were here in January but had to leave as the hotel was closing due to covid restrictions, hotel re-accommodated us at their sister hotel the colony club. Kim the manager and all her staff made our stay very pleasurable and went out of their way to be as accommodating as possible. Sea front room was lovely and spacious and although the menu was limited it was tasty and hot. There is a gym with everything you need and this was sanitised after use. Would re-visit once normal service in the world resumes!

    The experience was excellent from start to finish and the customer service was unparrelled! They really made my husband feel special on this birthday and even when we went to another resort (Tamarind Hotel) for the "Dine Around" program, they didn't miss a beat and the birthday wishes continued! Thanks to Kim, Crystal, Sabrina, Jackie, Chadderton and Lee for making our stay memorable!

    I am writing this review from my hotel room, albeit in quarantine waiting to get my second covid test (now a requirement after presenting your first negative result on arrival) to be cleared for release into society. Kudos to the Barbados governemnt. I will also mention that I have experienced quite a bit of Barbados Tourism Industry and the Team at Waves are worth mentioning for exceptional and unwavering customer service! We are confined to our room which as you can imagine may be a drag..however, The team has gone above and beyond to ensure we enjoy our stay in comfort and style. My wife and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary and from our initial contact with Jacqueline, the welcoming and walkthrough of covid protocols by the the duty manager Ryan, the follow up and servicing by Crystal & Marsha (front desk) and room service arrangements by Tamika and company...our experience thus far has been nothing short of amazing! The reviews I have seen in regards to vacations spoiled seemed to be as a result of person being unaware of the current protocols during this pandemic...that being said, the staff has made an effort to ensure that clients are not misled and are aware of what is expected even before you arrive. And as much as we can say from our room, you can't go wrong with an all inclusive option where the food is good, the staff is A class and the room is clean, modern and comfortable. Thanks Team Waves and I highly recommend this hotel having been around the block!
