Amazing staff
Reviewed by Cowboybell() on Jan 07, 2021
Check in was a little much with the Covid protocol but was expected. Pre Covid I spent many nights in hotels each year for work. Many of them on the high end of luxury so I feel my comments are very representative. This property is well maintained and close enough to everything in Waikiki. The major stand out is the staff. They are incredible. They went above and beyond on every request. Greeted us by name every time we walked into the lobby. Yes, the pool was closed and the breakfast was not normal but it was Hawaii and a couple blocks from the beach. We grabbed musabi every morning at the 7-eleven down the street and off we were to a full day. This is not luxury but a clean, close to the beach property with folks that care about your trip. We had 4 room for 9 days and would stay again in a minute. Best bang for your buck you could find in Waikiki.
Misleading amenity information

Don't be misled by the hotel web page. Pool, hot-tub, gym, buffet breakfast, none of these are available, though their web page said they included in their amenities. Moreover, though we tested negative and have the proof, we were treated as if we are infectious. The check in process was very unpleasant. They only have room service twice a week, by the way.
Concierge service and hotel

Ross, at the concierge desk, helped us navigate all of the things we should do during our 10 day stay. We got the best prices and he was able to call and get us into places that we couldn’t do online. He took the time and explained all the amazing things to do in and out of the city. The hotel staff was so accommodating and helpful with anything we needed. We recommend this hotel hands down. Would come here again without a doubt!
A decent option on Waikiki
Reviewed by ruizhiliu(Chicago, Illinois) on Oct 24, 2020
We stayed here for two days after Hawaii reopened tourism. The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was nice but a bit on the smaller side. There’s not much space to move around. Most facility is closed due to COVID, but that was expected and the staff did a great job communicating. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach and the main strip of Waikiki but not too bad.
Reasonable For Honolulu

On a 1 night flight layover. New crew hotel. The staff at check in was smiley and friendly for being 5:00AM. Very clean hotel. Smaller, quaint rooms, but perfect view of the beach from the 34th floor. All the staff I encountered during the 34 hour layover were very hospitable. Love this hotel!
