Had the opportunity to stay in this great hotel in the heart of Waikiki. Conveniently located around an abundance of shops and restaurants and along a transit route. Free Wi-Fi at hotel, nice pool and gym and complimentary shaved ice every day at 1 pm as well. There’s also an in house cafe and restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back.

What an awesome find in Waikiki. The Laylow was exactly what we were looking for: clean, hip (but not pretentious), laid back, centrally located and friendly. The food at the Hideout (restaurant downstairs) was great. The bar offered the perfect space for relaxing with a nice cocktail after a long day. The front desk, concierge, pool and valet staff were so friendly, professional and accommodating. I did a lot of research before my stay and I'm SO excited I decided to choose The Laylow. Tips: - Mobile check in if you have an early flight and increase the chances that your room will be ready when you arrive. - If you are headed to the beach, check in with the valet to see if they have any umbrellas available that other guests have left behind.

I really liked this hotel, its definitely Hawaii decorated, but in a modern twist kind of way. The pool is very pretty and again modern, but surrounded by lots of palms and greenery, great place to hang and tan and have drinks. I had 5 days of relaxation here, and although the hotel is busy, I was able to unwind and was not disturbed. The location is really good, but not right in the middle of the busy and loud stuff. On another note, the rooms are immaculate, plus the staff is friendly and helpful.

We stayed here two days to check out Waikiki. It was a return to Oahu for two of us who worked here for the World Football League in 1974. Quite obviously, it was not the same area. It has grown in one direction—upward! There is nothing wrong with the LayLow, except it does not feel like one is visiting Hawaii. Our room was the latest, great bathroom, comfy beds. But view was of other high-rises. Hotel is deluxe in every way but jammed into the high-rise city. The. open-air restaurant on 2nd floor was super. Great for breakfast. Pool on same floor was never used by us. Service was outstanding. Hotel is next to the modernized International Marketplace. Too far from the beach! Standing on Kuhio downstairs, I estimated that 8 of every 10 passersby were Asian.

My fiance and I stayed here last spring for a weekend staycation. It's a litter pricier than some other boutique hotels in Waikiki, but its worth the price! We stayed in a corner King suite and it was super spacious, had 2 balconies, which let in a lot of light. There was a dining nook so you don't have to eat on the bed or day bed and the bathroom/shower are roomy. The king bed was super comfy and the room was decorated with really nice post-modern furniture. I really liked the random books in our room, one which stands out was the Hawaiian Survival Handbook. The welcome basket had great snacks and cute slippers to wear to the pool! They also have a mini-fridge and refill the bottled water daily. It's a great location, right next to international market place, and walking distance to other great shops/eateries. The Hideout had great food and drinks. It's just a cute place to hang out and have lunch or dinner and they offer room service too. We visit the PNW a lot, so stoked that they serve Stumptown coffee here! The staff was great, really welcoming and treated us great. Really helped us feel like we were on vacation and not just getting away for the weekend. I can't wait to stay here again!
