Very nice location but the temperature was a bit much for us so we stayed near the pool and shade . The staff all appeared to enjoy their work of serving and were very friendly .the buffet food was sufficient for us as there was a good variety to choose from
Fabulous vacation

I travelled here with a friend and we enjoyed the resort so much that we hope to return next year. The friendliness of the staff is exceptional, Every area of the resort is extremely clean, the rooms are spacious and comfortable with high-quality towels and bed linens. There is little room for improvement, but we found the food in the restaurants a bit mediocre. The Kasbah restaurant seating doesn’t lend itself well to comfort as the tables and seats are extremely low. It was also very hot and so not an enjoyable place to eat. Food served in the buffet restaurant was very good quality, and so varied that everyone can find something to enjoy. Beaches are spectacular and safe. Shuttles are easily available to move you around the resort, but we enjoyed walking from place to place in spite of the hills. I can’t stress enough how well treated we felt, and how much we’re looking forward to another visit!
You will leave feeling better than when you arrived!

This resort is wonderful- very clean and well-maintained. The food was great with lots of variety. I especially enjoyed the lamb kebab dish at the Kasbah while my husband enjoyed the BbQ Ribs and the Clubhouse sandwich at the main buffet. All the desserts were great and made it difficult to narrow down to one. There are lots of activities. I am very thankful to the wonderful yoga teacher whose name , I believe, is Roberto and to Paco, the tennis coach. Along with the many opportunities to walk the lovely trails and hills, there are lots of ways to get more fit during your stay. Our Westjet representative was kind and helpful, as were ALL the STAFF! Our room was extremely clean and comfortable! If we could make suggestions for the resort to improve, our wish list would be 1. for more comfortable seating in the theatre ( we found it difficult to stay for an entire performance as the chairs were too uncomfortable) and 2. A salon offering manicures, pedicures and hair services. I used the spa on two separate occasions and had great massages from Gabi! Thank you to everyone who made our trip so enjoyable. We are already planning our next vacation at Las Brisas! Gracias! Gracias! Gracias!
Highly Recommended!

Relaxing time with friends

We spent 10 days in March here with friends, all in our 40s, and had a wonderful time! Beach - It is very hot, so shade and frequent trips into the ocean, lots of sunscreen, water, and hats will help. There is drink service on the beach, and they also bring around bottled water and snacks (peanuts and pretzels). There are water filling stations at the bars as well, and you can ask for bottled water anywhere. So important to keep hydrated! The sand is very hot on the feet and there is some coral and rocks, so water shoes are handy. There is a reef by the two main beaches (Ventra and Manzanilla) that you can snorkel around. The third beach (Tornillo) is where you can take out paddle boards and kayaks. Yes, you will need to get up early, 7am, if you want a palapa to sit under for the day. Not ideal and it would be great if they could figure out a way that works better, but we would stay down and enjoy the cool and quiet, not leave and come back much later. Rooms - Spacious, lots of cupboards, drawers, hangers to put your things in/on. Always had our water, pop and beer replenished daily. There was an iron, ironing board, extra pillows, shampoo and body soap in the shower. The room isn't super modern furnishing, but I found them pleasant and in good repair. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Grounds - Always being tended too. We were there during the dry season, but things were still fairly green and flowers were vibrant. It is very hilly, so lots of stairs and inclined walking, but you can call for carts either from your room or there are phone/pick up stations close to each area where the sleeping quarters were (Cloud, Stars, Mountain, Sea). Food - We tried all five a la carts ( Mexican, Kasbah, Mediterranean, Seafood, Steakhouse). We enjoyed something at each restaurant, some more than others, but there were some fun menu items. The buffet was always great, always found something. There is an egg station and taco station in the morning, they would change for lunch/dinner to either pasta, stir fry, seafood, and other hot on the spot meal options. Service - The employees were friendly, helpful, and hard working, so make sure you tip! They prefer pesos in Huatulco, so bring that instead of American. The only place it was lacking was at the seafood restaurant - the servers were maybe feeling rushed and slammed our plates/glasses on the table and took off immediately. I would recommend having more chairs/tables by the two activities pools. There is lots of room for more of those which would be nice during the day and at night as it is very limited. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this resort??
