    A missed opportunity....

    I visit Las Vegas often. In my many visits I like staying at the different resorts on or very near the strip. I was aware that the Hooters Resort had changed ownership and I wanted to give the “new” resort a chance. I was not familiar with the Oyo branding and sadly, my first impression was not a good one. I think the update mostly consisted of a name and signage change and that’s about it. The room I was in needed a deep cleaning. While the room rate was on an economy scale by the time you add the “resort fee” for an older, outdated and well worn facility you can find better options very near on the strip for only a few dollars more per night. I wanted to like the Oyo, but I just think they didn’t do enough to their Las Vegas property to make a good impression to first time visitors to the Oyo brand.

    Issue wasnt fixes tech came out however issue still persisted. I arrived and the water would change inrermitently and called in and reported along with a defective remote control. My issue wasnt resolved. Remote yes. Tech was courteous.

    Customer service sucks no microwave or mini fridge in rooms. Not the best for the price paid to stay here. Will never come to this hotel again. And all day your hounded by timeshare pp . Bugging the hell out of you

    You get what you pay for, which in this case, isn't much. I am too old to stay in a Fraternity Hotel. Old, tired, and sad. Room was spartan, which is fine, except the bed was iffy, the A/C unit incredibly noisy, the food was . . . just yuck

    Rooms are not up to date, not a decent hotel at all. On their website rooms look neat, clean and modern.... upon arrival staff very nice and courteous, move forward to rooms are completely different, raunchy and dirty, holes on baseboard in the bathroom, door looks like it was kicked and yellow stained everywhere Yuck.
