Perched on the North Shore Cliffs overlooking the Pacific and beautiful Hanalei Bay, these villas are an ideal holiday destination. The whole complex is beautifully maintained - an infinity pool, kiddie pool, restaurant and convenience store and a fully equipped gym, all on site. The villas are fully loaded and beautifully maintained. Essentially, a timeshare destination, however, the villas can be rented, too. With full kitchens and outdoor bbqs this makes a great family destination. You will need a car to see all that the Garden Isle has to offer, but then you’ll be close to shopping and restaurants, too. I fail to see how you could not enjoy Weston’s Villas at Princeville.

    No elite member perks

Stay somewhere else. We stayed at five different Marriott properties on the island and this was by far our least welcoming experience. This hotel puts timeshare owners first and loyal elite status earned patrons second. If you want an upgrade here you pay for it period (which we did). We were lucky enough to have a very pleasant check with Tiffany at the front desk. The breakfast was laughable. I’ll leave a photo attachment with our “elite member breakfast”. Our whole experience was cheapened by the ridiculous and somewhat embarrassing practices at breakfast. Our issues were not addressed by the hotel manager and in turn we cut our stay short. The property is well maintained and the pools were very nice. Stunning views if you are lucky enough to secure a room near the cliffs. We ended up in a smelly corridor near the parking garage which was our best option. We requested a late checkout at noon and were told “we don’t do that here” after a lot of pleading we were given a small concession of an extra hour to collect our things. This did not feel like any Westin I’ve stayed at in any part of the world. Sad really Hanalei is so beautiful and this is the only Marriott property.

Stayed for four nites in Westin Princeville, it became my nightmare in the end. On the last day around 10:20AM in the morning, when i was still sleeping wearing only pajamas, a guy from hotel stormed in and asked me to check out. (I was not awared of check out time at 10am, and my boyfriend went out for surfing in the morning). I wake up from dream and the guy still there keeping the door wide open and staring at me. I was very confused and terrified at the same time. After my strong insistence, the guy finally left. I called the front desk immediately, double checking the check out time and told the front desk about my terrified experience. What surprised me is that the lady picked up the phone never say sorry and confirm the check out time and ask me to leave immediately.I understand Westin is not like luxury brand hotel, but is it too much to pay a little respect to a girl for her privacy. If you want the customer to check-out, you may just close the door and ask the front desk to call, instead of staring at her and keep the room door widely open, when you seeing her barely wearing any clothes and alone!! Until now, no manager and no one say anything to my horrible experience, i will never come to this hotel again definitely and maybe never Westin ever again!

My family and I had another wonderful visit to the Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas. This is our fourth time coming here. One of the things that draws us back each time is the FUN TEAM. They are responsible for the activities which kids can take part in - crafts, airbrush tattoos, ukulele lessons, and more. We were especially grateful this year to interact so much with Jenthira. My daughter (10) really enjoyed her - she is super friendly and sweet with the kids she’s working with. After taking Jen’s ukulele lesson at the resort, we ended up going into town and buying an ukulele for my daughter (which we had already been considering doing). When we got back to the resort and mentioned it to Jen the next time we saw her, she said she’d love to see it. So, my daughter and I got it and brought it over to Jen. She sat with my daughter for 20 minutes and gave her some more tips and helped her learn “Counting Stars” on her brand new ukulele. That’s a memory from this trip that will always remain really special. Jen and the rest of the team do a great job of welcoming everyone. Even if you don’t participate in the activities, you’ll get to interact with them at the towel drop off/pick up area. All the FUN TEAM employees, and supervisor, will go out of their way to ensure you have a great time and have what you need! Thanks FUN TEAM and Westin!! We’ll be back soon!

Big Problems with Kid’s Club Reservations

I rarely leave a negative review, but we felt it was important to share our experience with others. We came to the hotel for our wedding anniversary. We chose the Westin for our vacation because they have a kid’s club that they advertised would be open the day of our anniversary. We called the hotel twice before we arrived at the hotel and left voicemails on the Kid’s Club phone, but nobody ever called us back. Then, we checked in on a Sunday and explained that nobody called us back, and we were trying to get our daughter signed up for Kid’s Club on Monday. The concierge lady named Dabney said “Sorry, kid’s club is closed tomorrow. I don’t know why”. So, we had to find an outside babysitting service and pay $30 per hour to have someone sit in our room with our daughter even though the kid’s club was advertised to be open during that time. Later, the manager for kid’s club apologized for the confusion and said we should have been allowed to make the reservation. They also admitted that nobody was checking those voicemails. Our daughter signed up for a half day on Wednesday and enjoyed the experience, but we were so disappointed with their lack of reservation system and poor communication. A hotel of this caliber should have offered to make this right by comping her morning session on Wednesday, but they just apologized and offered us a fruit plate on the day we were leaving (which we didn’t have time for). Beautiful hotel, but they need to change their communication and reservation system for Kid’s Club!
