I stayed at the Warwick with a group of friends celebrating a milestone birthday with one of them. We made it a great time, however, this hotel should not be all inclusive. We travel all inclusive more often than not because of the options and convenience. This hotel did not offer options. One spot for breakfast, one for lunch and only two for dinner does not constitute an all inclusive. The food choices were minimal. I’m not a big drinker so that wasn’t an issue. The bartenders were attentive and fun. The rooms are just ok with easily fixable minor issues. The bed was the best by far. The shower head needed to be replaced in my room. My sink was not completely caulked to the counter top. The ironing board was broken and fell on me. Luckily I was still holding the iron in my hand or that would have gone in a whole other direction. The amenities and offerings are definitely not worth the rate of the rooms. I have to mention Ms. Debbie in concierge and Mercedes in the pool side grill and sometimes in restaurant for breakfast and also Tevin. These three made our stay!!! Ms. Debbie helped us with transportation, dinner reservations, finding shopping spots, a pharmacy, you name it she handled it!!!! On the days we hung around the hotel, Mercedes and Tevin took care of us out by the pool. They were very attentive, and made sure we had what we needed. They were the best thing about our stay here. (Not including outside activities).

I’ve stayed at The Warwick Paradise Island a few times and this time was the absolute best experience! Even though we are still going through a pandemic, We felt SAFE and was still able to have fun! We did temperature checks, a brief questionnaire and submitted a negative Antigen test before checking in. Once that was completed we were greeted by Shama Lewis at the front desk who is Always so warm, welcoming and professional. She really sets the tone for what you can expect at the Warwick! As I am a Warwick Journeys Gold member she also went above and beyond to make sure I got the necessary perks that come along with my status! During check in we were greeted with welcome drinks (which was much needed at the time). Once settled, we headed down to the pools and enjoyed the endless food and drinks. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the food. Warwick Paradise Island food has always been good, but this time it was much better! In addition, the menu options were perfect! Kudos to you Warwick for always improving. The grouper and steak at Edgewater was delicious. The pizza and fish burger was also yummy! Mercedes at Chickcharnies is also worth mentioning. She is so sweet and helpful. The tall bald lifeguard (forgot his name) was also very helpful and accommodating in setting up umbrellas and lounge chairs for us. Until we meet again Warwick, bravo!!

We found the service to be well done. The room was clean and comfortable. We went during Covid restrictions, therefore, 3/4 restaurants were open. We were pleased with all of the restaurants. The concierge, Debbie, was fantastic. The spa was outstanding. The pool was clean. The lagoon had more sea life than when we went to the public beach. At the hotel lagoon I saw 10 species of fish, several conchs and 1 crab. The staff did offer activities on Friday and Sunday on the hour every hour from 12-4 - bingo ( I won a shot glass), egg throwing context, water balloon contest, etc. You were not required to join in. The laughing gulls were annoying. They are constantly chatting and stealing food if you are not diligent on watching it. The staff did their best. You must go knowing that nature is going to be there and you must deal with it. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the music at the pool. Upon first arrival there was Caribbean music (Thu) . The next and from there are on out (Fri - Sun) the music was extremely loud, booty shaking, body grinding, with explicit lyrics along with what we felt was a drunk DJ who sang along or cussed throughout the songs. Our room was on the 8th floor with a balcony right next to this music. We couldn't even leave the pool area without having the music still felt not only heard even when we stayed in our room and not on the balcony. Why couldn't they bring the volume down, it was played from 12-6 every day? Why couldn't one day they play this kind of music and the next Caribbean music or another type of get up and go music? We were happy to leave and not have to listen to thumping music. Variety of music would have been nice.

I recently stayed at the Warwick during a trip to the Bahamas. This was, by far, my favorite accommodation in my 10 years of traveling there. The friendly greetings started with the temperature scanner outside and seemed to never end. Every person was so helpful and hospitable. Shama was such a big help! She gave us a personalized tour at check-in and made sure we reserved the best dinner! She honestly made us feel like VIP guests. The food was great! We especially liked our steak and grouper. Not to mention all of the poolside snacks from Chickcharnies(can you say all the chicken wings you can eat?) great drinks from the bar as well. The beach games were fun, and I usually tend to avoid organized activities. Karaoke was LIIITTTT!!! I appreciate the COVID precautions(testing, distancing, sanitizer, masks, reduced occupancy). I felt very safe and we'll taken care of. I will for sure be returning for a girls trip soon!!!

Expected More for an All Inclusive

My husband & I visited the resort for our honeymoon. We even upgraded to the honeymoon package which was not worth the extra fee. The package included a couples massage, champagne on arrival, travel from the airport and a solo candlelight dinner. I’ll start by saying the massages were amazing but the dinner came up short. I also don’t feel like we would have received what we paid for unless we asked quite a few times. We were asked to fill out a questionnaire before we arrived about when we wanted to do dinner, preferences, etc but when we checked in they seemed to have nothing. We followed up a few days later and still had to talk to a few employees to ensure we got the dinner. Once we showed up at dinner, it wasn’t completely setup and dinner ended up being subpar. We never received champagne on arrival and only were able to get the shuttle back to the airport. Overall the staff was very friendly but I feel the the resort lacks organization to run as an all inclusive. Only 1 restaurant was opened each night. While I understand the Covid restrictions - our room was never cleaned in the 7 days we were there even after it was requested. We had to request new bath towels after a few days because they were never brought up. Overall it was an okay experience but I wouldn’t say great. I wish the communication was better about amenities available and scheduled events for the day.
