This was a return visit for us. Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the friendly staff members and loved the food. This time we chose the ocean view rooms and enjoyed many beautiful sunsets from our decks. The beach is clean and safe. The transfers from the airport to the resort and back were without incident. Legends at Negril is a wonderful, quiet, and beautiful location. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but it sure has character and a welcoming ambiance!

My husband and I spend a week at Legends Beach Resort, we had a beach side room. We enjoy our stay very much. The room was very clean and our king bed was super comfortable. Air conditioner worked well. We only spent the sleeping time in our room really. The beach area was so beautiful we spent a lot of time there. The food was good. The staff were very friendly and service was great. It is a smaller resort which we like. Walking distance to many things.

I booked 3 weeks in Nov. Before travelling I had exchanged e-mails CS explaining I needed ground floor and near to the beach due to disabilities and was told not a problem. Arrived and was greeted by a can't be bothered receptionist who made me carry my own luggage knowing I had a disability issue to my garden side room.... I think garden side rooms are marketed around lies, garden side rooms are not the garden side of the hotel but across a main road that doesn't have street lighting or a crossing. The security will help you cross if they see you but they have many duties and are not always around and they can't see the 'garden side from their post on the hotel side of the main road. Outside of the open gate to 'garden side' are drug dealers and prostitutes which can be intimidating to pass if there is a gathering, but they caused me no problems. With having to wait to cross the road I could only just manage to find somewhere to sit for a few mins. but in pain. 2nd night I had someone knocking my door at 10.30pm which upset me a great deal as alone, reported it to reception but she wasn't surprised and just shrugged her shoulders. It was at this point I realised there was no security 'garden side' at all unless security happened to be at the main road and look across. After a few days my door started knocking early morning whilst I was still sleeping, at least 3-4 times in the 2 weeks. The last knocking was from a lady from serving the bar I found out later, she had charged me wrong and wanted my attention and almost kicked in the door, that night I was scared to go out as at the time I didn't understand who it was and got absolutely covered by ant bites which just added to my misery. After reporting all these issues to the reception and last minute.com several times about my safety. I contacted the embassy as I was loosing my mind with worry and wanted to get home. The owner contacted me and moved me to there cliff top hotel for my 3rd week and although there was great food, service compared to Legends poor offerings there was a massive accident that will stay with me for life. Nestor is my hero!

Didnt stay here but this is a sister hotel to the samsara one near the cliffs, whenever we wanted to go hit the beach the staff recommended we go here since our all inclusive passes worked there too, so free drinks and food, the beach was clean and service was great

Went to samsara and took the free shuttle to legends. Spent the days on the beach, awesome views and tons of activities to do. Clean beach with clear water and amazing food selection. Recommend this hotel and samsara! Awesome experience and will definitely be coming back.
