    We loved it! Our room and experience was amazing for our short anniversary trip! We have rebooked again for June 2021! We stayed on the level side and would totally recommend that experience as well! Well done small boutique hotel experience!

    Too many issues!

    Check in was terrible! Had a party of 3 couples around 3:00 PM and 3 other people checking in around 5:00 PM. Was told some story about a different company takes care of the beds and they aren't responsible for what size beds we were given. The shower in our room didn't work....the water was too hot! Called and waited for someone to come and fix it but they didn't show up. There wasn't enough chairs around the pool or the beach area. It seems the people from the other area of the resort could come over and use our pool, etc but we couldn't go over to that side. Thinking this should be addressed when people are asking why there aren't enough chairs!!! We had been at this resort for 7 days and didn't have any problems until the 8th day! We stayed 10 days! The food was not very good especially the specialty restaurants. The steak place was okay. We will not be going back to this resort and will tell anyone that asks to NOT GO there!

    Me an 2 of my friends came here last year and had a blast. Everything was great. This year we returned to see many of the staff we met had left. We asked around an they told us there was a new motel in town an they usually take the workers by enticing them. The other reason is there is new management. And we could tell in the next few days. When we got there we needed 2 beds but they did not have any. We stayed in a room with a king bed. Amieka from the front desk was very sweet an took care of all of our needs an fixed it the next day. Dino was the man coming daily to refill the fridge. We requested extra water an diet soda he was happy to take care of it daily. If you venture to the pool find Kemar he will get you a fresh coconut with water in it. What a nice man an attitude he has. We had gotten sick for a few days and our housekeeper Gina was amazing to us. She really acted like a mother an came to see us daily. She was helping us get certain items we needed to feel better. We couldn't ask for a better person. She really cares about the customers an it shows. We enjoy all of the restaurants here. The market place is so so. Many options daily. We thought O'Grille was horrible. The fries are not worth eating an the burgers are dry. We tried it twice each time the orders where not correct. Room service food is okay an be prepared to wait a long long long time. If they forget something you'll be waiting even longer for them to come back. This needs major improvement. At the bar a few times they ran out of liquor an diet coke. That was crazy to us!!! We had a chance to meet Mark he is in charge of food an beverage. We shared our concerns an comments with him an he is happy to receive them, so if you need to voice anything ask for him. He was very pleasant an is trying to get things in order. The gym is a plus an very clean. We love the view of the ocean when you wake up an look outside. Had the ocean view room. The place is clean an very pretty, the staff is very nice. Don't forget to tip these workers. We tipped everyone. If you need anything voice it while you are there an not complain in a review when you get home. We never had an issue that they didn't address an fix. The entertainment they offer is super great!! Hopefully you enjoy the place. We will be returning in 2021 for a 3rd time. Thank you Melia Braco

    Nice place but Issues

    Overall staff very nice and friendly but this is not in same league as let's say a Ritz Carlton. Staff polite but very lax or unresponsive in addressing room issues. Place was probably only half full because of cancellations from virus and you'd think they would have upgraded us but did not. Also had no TV for three days (we were only there for 4 days) despite 3 requests to fix. Shower flooded bathroom floor due to faucet malfunctions, could seldom get wifi signal for iPhone. Market Place restaurant good for breakfast, other than that very mediocre. But staff in general very nice. It clearly has a management problem.

    Stayed in the Level side of property. Poor customer service. Our child had to hear an employee use profanity. Chef tried to pass mayonnaise and mustard off as hollandaise sauce. Had to wait for coffee service while staff finished their champagne. No child/teen evening entertainment. Waited over an hour for lunch service one day - went to see why there was a delay and found 9 employees standing around talking and the chef hadn’t even started our order. Public restrooms were filthy and smelled. Room service called multiple times in the middle of the night to see if we needed anything waking my family (phone issue). We stay at 5-star properties all around the globe - unclear how this property is rated as a 5 star. Bartenders need quick reference guides or should ask the customer how to make drinks rather than just “winging” it. Waited nearly 2 hours one evening for a cheeseburger from room service for our child. Broken soap dispensers in public restrooms. Rooms were clean. Level concierge was friendly. Main area staff were much friendlier than Level staff.
