This is a time share facility

Anthony L on Apr 13, 2024

I stayed here for a Disney vacation, when I arrived, check was a bit busy but there was many people on staff to help. When we returned the next day from a day at Disney, our room wasn't clean and there was no towels. I called to complain and was told, "we are a time share facility and we do not clean rooms or wash towels, we only do this ever 10 days" I don't remember seeing any reference to a time share on the website nor do I see anything that mentions guests need to clean their own rooms and wash their own towels. The last thing I wanted to do after a long day at Disney is cleaning and laundry. That is the point of a vacation, to get away from that. This information should be on the website so that guests can make their own decision if this is acceptable to them. We checked out and went to another Holiday inn near Disney springs and when I told them this story they laughed in disbelief that there was a holiday inn that doesn't clean rooms or do laundry.

nice room, bad checkout experience, putt-putt poorly maintained

861bernards on Apr 01, 2024

Room was nice, spacious and clean. We declined the sales pitch but were told that the $400 credit was only good on food and beverages. It turned out that it was also good on merchandise, but we could only find out by trial and error, as the people at the tour sales center did not know. Miniature golf is poorly maintained and expensive but at least we could pay for it with this credit. On checkout day, cleaning staff rang bell and then barged in 15 seconds later even though our car was still in the driveway of the unit, and even though it was only 9:00 am, an hour before checkout time.

Takes too long for check in

ulla203 on Mar 31, 2024

At check in they force you to go to another counter to get your parking permit and activate you key, this is to get you to go to a pressure sales presentation for timeshare sales, a real turn off, especially when you’ve owned for 41 yrs

Would stay here again

Jwdpepper (Tampa, Florida) on Mar 30, 2024

Beautifully manicured grounds, tons of activities and pools, spacious and well-appointed rooms (although bed comfort is hit or miss), Plethora of restaurants and a Publix basically onsite or across the street. Would definitely come back!! So why 4 stars instead of 5? Obnoxious sales tactics. They play the game at check in where you have to go to a booth and then to another desk to get your room keys activated and get parking passes. I quickly told the lady I was not interested in signing up for a timeshare presentation and could I please just have my parking pass, to which she abruptly told me that I was required to listen to her spiel. Then, throughout the week, they called us on the room phone three times each morning (I didn’t answer). This annoys me to no end. It’s my vacation and I like to sleep in. The last thing I want is to be rudely awakened by a loud shrill phone. I paid my fees and relinquished my points, please let me enjoy my vacation in peace without these annoying games and phone calls!!

Stay away from this resort!

Colleen W (Oshawa, Canada) on Mar 30, 2024

This is a time share property and they are very aggressive in getting you to take a high pressure tour and sales pitch, if you don’t go on the tour they charge your credit card $50 US, they are definitely bullies and don’t care whether you can afford it or not! The prices for food is very high so be prepared. The unit itself is very nice and clean we have a two bedroom unit backing onto a golf course but not near any pools so be prepared to drive around a lot or take the shuttle everywhere you go. Check in was awful first you go to the registration desk then to key activation desk then you are taken over to the sales desk to be pressured into taking the tour, they make you think it is mandatory and you don’t get a choice to say no! Overall I would not come here again the resort is very large and crowded a lot to do but basically it is very busy and over priced the lure is the affordable price to book but then you are charged for everything including parking even though it advertises free parking. This is a time share property masquerading as a hotel resort!
