“ it’s a vibe”

I have been here 5 times since September 23’ and every time it amazes me how the staff will remember your name and greet you with enthusiasm and a smile. After talking to many of the staff members they will tell you that this hotel is different than others…. In that the vibe of the hotel is light, friendly, low stress, accommodating, and fun. I could write all day about this hotel, I just enjoyed every visit!! concierge’s desk is top notch.
Excellent Hotel

Good Hotel with fantastic connection to Universal Studios and to the universal city walk. Unfortunately the hotel is too cold due to the AC, but otherwise everything is fine. I had a standard room and it was clean and enough space for the time. The coffee bar in the hotel is not to expensive and well staffed. Didn't use the pool but the gym has got excellent machines.
Beautiful and affordable resort

I stayed at the hotel with family the lobby of the hotel is bright and airy. It has a tropical vibe and discreet Caribbean music is piped through the system. My checkout experience was extremely efficient and easy. It was also a lifesaver because we were able to check in early. The room itself had decorations of light blue and white, with a view overlooking the pool area. The noise from outdoors was not bad but I did hear the snoring of the person to the right of us. The room I chose had a shower and bath (which I feel is necessary after a long day of walking the parks). What you notice most about this hotel is the warmth of its staff, they consistently smile and give greetings and check in to see whether you need help. The bathrooms were clean if not small, and the water pressure was just above a trickle. For a room that sleeps up to 4-5 the bathroom configuration/size was a shocker. There is one sink with little to no counter space. The mirror was cool, it could be dimmed and brightened with a touch. There were also plenty of outlets for devices in the room and it also came with a refrigerator. We explored the resort a bit, the pool was consistently busy and did have kids' activities. The Jacuzzi we found was always overcrowded and we were never able to get in. One of the biggest pluses of this hotel is the option of taking the bus, boat, or walking to the parks. This is the primary reason I went to this hotel. One of the biggest drawbacks was the Sapphire Falls boat lines were always much longer than the other resorts so it was normal to have to wait for another vote. I visited the gift shop and it is fairly large and carries souvenirs, necessities, and swimsuits. There was also a coffee/breakfast and a sit-down restaurant downstairs that was not at all something to write about that I will review at a later time. For the nightly cost, location, and guest service, Sapphire Falls is definitely worth it. Universal is beginning to replace Disney as my resort area of choice.
Take the boat to the Park!

Truely the best thing about this resort is the transportation to the park! It's one of only four hotels that has a boat you can take directly to the center of City Walk - no long walk from the City Walk parking areas to get in. And while you still have to go through a metal detector to gain entrance to City Walk, each of the 4 hotels has their own detectors on the doc before you get aboard the boat so no long line. The full service restaturant Amatista Cookhouse is one of the better Loew's restaurants I have tried (see my other reviews on The Royal Pacific and Cabanna Bay), I would highly recommend it for breakfast or for an afternoon cocktail at the bar. The room decor is a little cheesey, though I have to say I quite like the floor tiles and barn door in the bathroom. The bed was a litlle too firm for my taste but adequate. There is one aminitey that is missing from Sapphire Falls you should be aware of, unlike the other 3 resorts with boat transportation (Royal Pacific, Hard Rock and Portofino Bay), a stay at Sapphire Falls does not not include free Universal Express Unlimited access. Our stay was during the off season and mid week so I don't think it really would have saved us much time at all, but on a weekend it could make a real difference in how much time you spend waiting in line for a ride. Would I stay there again? Yes I would, though during the busier times of the year I would probably go for one of the other 3 for the Univeral Express pass.
Food an service great

One of my favorite hotels it’s so convenient to the parks and most of all the service at the hotel is great from the front desk to the restaurant and the food is one of the best , the breakfast is phenomenal. Also, the restaurant at night time has excellent food. One of the managers name mark was so kind to our family, the servers in the restaurant were so nice and friendly and the manager Ana who saw us a few times was always coming by an asking if everything was good . One happy customer
