I just checked out of this hotel 12:30pm today, 10/25/2020. They get 2 more stars for Diamond upgrade and very friendly bartender. When I checked in, a nice staff put me in a better room with a fire place, so that was the highlight of the stay. From that point on, it was downward slope mostly. The room had too much remains of the previous guest and dusts. I can definitely tell that that guests had a dog with them. I got annoyed, but none of my family are allergic, so I moved on. As a Diamond member, I was expecting free breakfast during my stay, which in fact, was one of the main reason I chose to stay with this hotel. my Hilton app said that I was going to get a continental breakfast at the 1st floor restaurant. But as I was walking to my room, it was obvious that the restaurant that was supposed to provide my breakfast was closed. And by the way, no one explained where to get the breakfast, how I can get them, what I can get. Next morning I went to the front desk and asked "where can I get my complimentary breakfast for diamond member?". the person said "at the bar". Nothing else. I said "Ok thanks" then I went to the bar, and the bar person gave me a menu. There were very limited menu available, so I automatically assumed that all of them would be for "continental breakfast" menu. But afterwards, I realized that I am only allowed to have coffee, muffin and juice. It would have been nicer if I was instructed with those information, but that's fine. I am ok to pay for the overpriced precooked breakfast burrito and english muffins, after all, I ate them. When I was checking out, the person who checked me out with his cashier ID "JLAWRENCELBC" clearly must have thought I was looking for some refund or other stuff. While I was giving him a feedback regarding dirty room and how I was not given proper information on how to get the breakfast for Diamond members, not even asking for anything else, he changed his face(under the mask) and told me "ok, what do you need?" with rather annoyed voice. You just do not say that to a customer who is giving them a feedback to improve their service quality. I left the lobby with a bad taste in my mouth. I have been to other DoubleTree properties, and most of the times I have a good experiences with decent breakfast but this one let me down big time. Oh, one last thing, when I asked him to print out the reciept, he said I already got one this morning. I said "no, I haven't" then he replied "by email". I do not check my email when I am on a vacation. he should know that.

Do not stay here in these COVID times. There is no food in the hotel, bar is closed. Can order in bad take out from club next door if you arrive before 7 PM. However even with no food on the premises there was a large roach in my bathroom. The TV flicked on and off so gave up on that. Pool was only open 1.5 hours of my stay. Supposedly there was a Continental breakfast that started at 7 AM, waited till 7:15 AM in the deserted lobby and then just gave up and checked out -- I was pretty grossed out by the roach anyway so maybe not eating there was the better move. Not sure what was going on there but certainly everything was not right. Have stayed previously and it was nice but this time wished I'd just stayed at the basic Hampton inn up the road. This was not resort quality -- they definitely shouldn't be charging resort fees when there are no amenities.

Me and my husband absolutely love this place! Staff is always welcoming. Rooms are always ready and clean. The bar and bartenders are beyond nice and can make killer margaritas. Pools is crystal clean and water temp is always comfortable. We always get the best views. I recommend staying on one of the upper levels to avoid lamp lights in room. Perfect place to unwind and relax for a quick weekend getaway!

We checked in for a one night stay while passing through Palm Springs... Wow... Beautiful property and grounds over looking the lake, golf course and mountains... stunning. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and could not be anymore accommodating. We were also upgraded and received a complimentary sparking wine and chocolate strawberries delivered to our room whilst celebrating our special occasion.... Thank you very much!!! We will be returning very soon!! ??

This is a lovely resort with beautiful grounds. Really enjoyed our short visit here. The front desk agent, Ester who checked my daughter and I could not have been more friendly. She went out of her way to ensure she could provide us with a nice room - and she delivered beyond our expectations. The room was very nice, appeared recently renovated, and was spotless. The view over the grounds are gorgeous. The pool area was very nice - very relaxing. There was a pool bar open on the weekend. Margaritas were very tasty! All the staff we encountered were helpful. Continental breakfast for Diamond members with $3 up charge for full buffet- full spread in pleasant dining space.
