The time at Xcaret Hotel Resort was an excellent time. We traveling to attend my daughter's Joy and Mike's wedding for July 14th. The staff and the hotel was excellent!!!!! The food, drinks, rooms, pools and the beach was outstanding. The Front Desk can use more experience personal especially during the corvid-19. I am waiting to resolve an over payment with the Hotel's management. I sent an email and a letter. please response back. A+++++

First time reviewer on Trip Advisor, but I felt compelled to write something. 3rd trip here, and we can honestly say we enjoyed this stay more than any of the others. We are platinum members, but I can say without question I have no buyers remorse in having purchased my membership at this resort. We stayed, for the first time, in Casa Fuego, the adults only hotel with the rooftop pool and the private restaurant. I am, full disclosure, very budget minded and figured this was a one-time thing, just to "see what it would be like". OMG. From the quality of the food (which is amazing, truly, anywhere you go) to the truly amazing experience and luxuriousness of that rooftop pool, to the convenience and attentiveness of the butlers on staff, now we are spoiled and ONLY want to stay there from now on! We swam with sharks in Xcaret, we did the Sea Trek adventure, we did the Xenotes experience... Everything truly felt like the trip of a lifetime, 4 nights was just too short for this magnificence. Dana Rodriguez, our concierge, could not have made the process easier, and we have already booked our return travel for next year. What makes this place standout from the others is the fun-clusive experience, where you have access to all the parks, which, if you paid them as "regular" tourists staying somewhere else, would cost hundreds if not even thousands more. Can things be improved? Of course, like anything or any place. I have personally never had an issue checking in as I've read on some reviews, but again, as a member, I have Dana smoothing the way for me before I even get there. I can tell you I was a bit wary of the travel there with Covid-19 raging, but their attention to detail and their level of cleanliness was excellent. I can say without any reservation I felt safer there than I sometimes do here in the states, particularly in the hot spot I live in, Miami. If your thing is staying on the beach or at the pool all day, I would tell you there are plenty of places in Cancun that are all-inclusive where you will pay less and probably have excellent service and food. But if you enjoy having true fun, with the ziplining, white water rafting, monster trucks, natural xenotes, those amazing parks are worth every penny. Hotel Xcaret gives you both, the 5-star luxury of an amazing hotel with amazing food and service, and full access to any and all of the parks, as many times as you choose to enjoy them, included in your price. It is a no-brainer as far as I am concerned, I will be happy to return there every year, even multiple times a year, seeing as they will and are continuing to expand and add attractions and adventures. And once I'm done, by daughters will also have that access for another 30 years. NO buyers regret here.

We stayed in the ocean front rooms of the hotel. The day we checked in we were at reception for 3 hours. This is too much time. Our bracelets did not function and on 6 different occasions we had to return to the reception and get the fixed. We stayed for 14 days. On day one all of the restaurants were already sold out. We had to eat most days at the mercado until I made a complaint and then accommodations were made for us to eat at the restaurants. The water in the rooms is sent in glass bottles that are breakable so if you have kids be careful. We were not explained that to open you use another bottle. The opener is on the bottom. The hotel itself is very beautiful. To go to the beach you need water shoes because there are many shells and rocks so make sure to take those. I think the hotel is very full and they shouldn’t keep accepting guests if they can’t give them reservations in the restaurants. The rooms service takes one hour or more to deliver food and the portions are very small. The egg service at the mercado es probably the worst i have encountered in all my hotel stays. The guy is not friendly and could learn how to make better huevos rancheros. They should have more egg makers because the lines get too long. This hotel is like a Disneyland in Mexico. There are a lot of activities for the kids. The parks are included. Some activities you have to pay for. The spa is more expensive than a Beverly Hills. I have to say it is amazing and the massage ladies do a great job. Beautiful but over priced. I see a lot of training missing in the staff at the hotel. During my stay a whole family was taken to my room and they tried to put them in my room. Many mistakes are made daily and more attention to detail is necessary.
