Great stay for either business or family travel

Erica N on Apr 10, 2024

Check-in process was smooth (thanks Arnold!). I definitely recommend a Hyatt club room for either business or with families. The free food made it a great value. Breakfast was an elevated continental spread (lots of fresh fruit, pastries, hard boiled eggs, cold cuts, etc.) plus some hot items. The coffee/espresso machine was available throughout the day when the club was open. Midday snacks were mostly cookies and a fruit/nut mix, so I didn't use that much. I went to the evening snacks my last night out of curiosity, and I was really impressed: great fresh salad bar, a pasta dish, canapes, a chicken dish, etc. I was traveling on business, but also thinking like a mom, it would be a great early dinner or heavy pre-dinner snack before a late dinner if you are traveling with kids. The gym was a little odd to get to, but it was nice and big--several Peloton bikes (leave your shoes at home though because they didn't have clips), stair tread, other bikes, ellipticals, treads, weight machines, and free weights. Housekeeping was flexible and efficient. The room was clean, though I could have hoped for more pillows (but I'm high maintenance). The baseball stadium, a grocery store, and a CVS are all about a 1/2 mile short walk and the area felt safe.

Rockstar except for the beds

CapnJTuttle (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) on Apr 04, 2024

I was in town for a conference held at the Hyatt and it was a great pick. It has some Amazing staff, a great location, delicious food, and the worst beds/pillows I’ve experienced at a hotel in a long time, to the point where I had to fold extra pillows and a cover into an extra mattress for a bit of a softer stay.
