We stayed at the French Village. While the resort grounds and beaches were beautiful, we found the staff unpleasant and sometimes rude We felt the staff did not go that extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. Most staff did not even smile and seemed grumpy. Maybe the staff needs to participate in a training class to learn techniques to improve customer satisfaction

No matter how many times we have been, there is always something new to enjoy

We travelled to Beaches as a family of four (girl 13 boy 10) over Thanksgiving 2019. We are Diamond members and have been coming to Beaches since our kids were in Camp Sesame. This time I had the privilege of booking one of the newly renovated Seaside Villa Suites located in the front Salt Cay building overlooking the Cascade Pool and Treasure Beach. We had a second floor suite with views over the Cascade Pool Bar and Treasure Beach, a gorgeous and fun view. I had a birds-eye view of the Caribbean Village at its best. The new layout of the room is ideal and flows very well. When you walk in the door, you enter the living room area. There is a murphy bed that pulls down from the wall, as well as a pull out couch and a pull out chair. We arranged the room so that our kids had some separation which worked well. There is a lot of closet space and the bathroom is really nice. Separate toilet, separate shower with glass door, and a large soaking tub with double vanity. A sliding door closes this off from the hall. The bedroom had a new comfortable king size bed and a beautiful view. The decor was modern and clean as well as tropical. This was among my favorite rooms at Beaches over the years having stayed in 3 of 4 villages. It is really wonderful to have a resort that grows with our family and ocntinues to please all of us as the kids get older. The staff also grows with our family and we are always made to feel like we are welcomed home by: Jamie, Paulette, Andrea, Mary, Colin, Alwayne, Ramon, Raquel, Garry, Abdul, Lorraine, Dian, Christine, Sofia, Meckisha, and all the counselors at the Tweens club :-) Happy Tweens and Teens not on a phone on vacation? YES IT IS POSSIBLE!!

We took 13. Villa was as good as we could have hoped. Maintenance, service, and appearance were superb-great job to Beaches here. Butlers were WOW! No lines, chairs waiting for you, Coffee,Pastry and Fruit arrived every morning...Anything you wanted was arranged and waiting,no hassle and worth every extra penny. Bruce and Arnold were terrific. Food: Restaurants were beautiful, many had spectacular beachfront views. That's where good ended. The waitstaff with one exception (Jake at Mario's) were poorly trained and unengaged. My wife has a soy allergy and one waiter came out of A kitchen and called out, "WHO GETS THE ALLERGY STEAK"...Not cool. Fish was always overdone. Coffee always cold, service slow, food rarely arrived together. The waitstaff had difficulty taking the orders and difficulty working with the food allergy. They couldn't figure out that an appropriate substitute for vegetable oil is Olive oil so they brought out undressed lettuce. They needed training badly. Children's Program: The staff was friendly but when we brought our three year old grandson to the program the first day, my daughter stayed outside the door. When she looked in on him he was sitting alone at a table quietly sobbing so she took him out and that was it for the children's program. With that said the beach, accomodations, drinks, setting and resort staff were great, the pools were beautiful,a very good experience which I would not spend what amounted to the gross national product of Peru on again.

This resort is truly heaven on Earth. It is located right on one of the most beautiful beaches on TCI. You can choose from millions of restaurants and bars. Every village/part of the hotel is nice, only different architecture, we stayed in French village and I absolutely loved it. Food, staff, avtivities, sea=TOP.

Great property, great location. Service is poor

The service from any of the restaurants staff is Horrible. They completely forget that they are there for the guests and not themselves. I tried to order a take out order from 1 of the restaurants at 11:55am. When I asked I was told to go tell the person in the front. When I found 2 people in the front of the restaurant they both told me they don’t open till 12:00 noon (5 minuets form when I asked). Told them that is ok can I just give you my order and when u open they can get it ready. I was told no they don’t open till 12:00noon. (Now 3 minutes away) So they would not take my order at 12:57 I had to wait till 12:00 noon for them to take my order.
