A conveniently located hotel
berkshiregirl58 (Poole, United Kingdom) on Mar 22, 2024
The Ports of Call is a smallish hotel, conveniently located for restaurants, the supermarket and the beach. We had a very nicely furnished room and comfortable beds, but unfortunately the bathroom shower had frequent poor pressure, and at one point stopped altogether for a minute or so. The water was rarely hot, too. I would have given my rating four stars, but we thought the breakfast was mediocre, at best, with poor quality ingredients. A vast improvement could be made in this respect, although it is a 3 star hotel, so I’m probably expecting too much.
Everything we needed for a quick stay

We stayed one night before our early morning InterCaribbean flight to South Caicos. Bernard at the front desk was funny and engaging at check-in. The room was spacious, well lit, and extremely quiet. The bed was comfy. The room had a small coffee maker, mini fridge, and a safe. Did not have time for breakfast before our taxi, but the setup seemed typical for an included hotel breakfast. Hotel was easy to access from the airport, we easily found dinner across the street (The Terrace), and the front desk was helpful in arranging our taxi for the morning.
A lovely getaway

Great location. Pool was lovely. It was a quiet week so it was extra nice. Breakfast was adequate. So close to Graceway, and a lot of restaurants and shopping. Awesome time at the beach. My mom and I loved it and we would stay here again. The only quibble is the toilet flusher was wonky, but other than that a nice spot that's not all inclusive. The staff were friendly and the cleaners were nice and friendly. It was fairly quiet which is what we were after.
Excellent Value, Great Location

This was a wonderful experience for my family! We booked only about 6 weeks in advance and found these accommodations to be an excellent value. There is easy beach access without the "on beach" price, and there are good dining options very nearby. We ended up without a rental car but it was fine-we got along well. A car would have allowed us to explore the island more, but it worked. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast great and the service excellent. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

The room was comfy, quiet, and clean! The location is walking distance to a number of restaurants & shops (including groceries). Staff was friendly, and the morning breakfast buffet was perfect! They offered shuttle service to the beach (although I didn't use it). I loved my stay here!
