We have just returned from a 10 day vacation at Sol Palmeras and can't say enough good things about our stay! ?? The hotel is, at the moment, going through some renovations but it didn't disturb us at all. Thanks to Dayana Martin,in customer service, we had a totally renovated room on the second floor. It was quiet, comfortable, clean (thank you, Tamara) had a huge patio with a covered lounge and had an ocean view. The lobby is very inviting when you first step into Sol Palmeras and staff work quickly to get everyone checked in. The lobby bar is full of action in the evening with very talented entertainment. We love the lobby bar evening staff especially Raime Lopez Domingues, Ernesto, Jorge and Beatriz. They made sure that we were well looked after again, like family. The food was very good and varied. We usually ate breakfast and lunch at the buffet which can be quite noisy depending on when you arrive. But our server, and now friend, Sandra Cartaya, made sure that the tables and area was always kept clean. All this with a wonderful smile too! We had some of our dinners at the a la cart restaurants, the Chinese and Italian being our favourites. We also had a romantic dinner on the beach one evening. Lovely, live music while we enjoyed a spectacular meal. The grounds were very well kept up with groundskeepers always on the look for things needing trimming. The pool was nice and clean and there were always enough loungers to relax on. We walked on the soft, sandy beach, swam in the ocean and caught a beautiful sunset. There is so much more to gush about but as you surmise, we loved it. This is a fantastic, family resort and we hope you'll give it a try. We'll be back! ??????

My opinion on the Sol Palmeras April 6-13 2024 Where to start with the Sol Palmeras ….I was so pleased with the service I received from Dayana Martin and the staff at the Sol Palmeras. They went above and beyond to help me have one of the best vacations in Cuba. This was my second visit to the Sol Palmeras but my 7th visit to Cuba. The Maintenance: Impeccable cleanliness and the rooms were spotless, the resort had beautiful decor and it was up to date. The resort was well-maintained. The hotel's cleanliness surpassed my expectations. Yes there was toilet paper. The only time there wasn’t was in town or at the airport. The comfortable accommodations included the beds that were exceptionally comfortable and new. The food: I was very impressed with the food, at breakfast there was fresh omelets, french toast, pancakes, meats and cheeses, pastries fresh fruit and vegetables. There was this amazing tasting afternoon BBQ that had a verity of meats, fish vegetables and salad. Dinner always had steak, chicken, fish, fries, pizza, pasta,bread butter, and cold meats along with plenty of vegetables and much more. Let’s not forget the ice cream that hits the spot under the warm sun!! The drinks were delicious including the mojitos from the mojito bar. You can choose an ala carte dinner (included)or a lobster dinner on the beach(for a fee) that was absolutely delicious and flavorful. The beach… one of the most stunning, white sandy beaches you will see. You can walk along the soft sandy beach and enjoy the warm sun. Absolutely breathtaking! The entertainment: there was an entertainment crew on the beach in the morning playing games, yoga and volleyball while there was music at the pool. Late morning into the afternoon there was entertainment at the pool with games and water aerobics. In the evening they had live music and a show by the pool. They had a beach party on the beach with a small bar set up that was fantastic! so there it is a fabulous hotel with amazing staff that are waiting for your visit. We went to the Sol Palmaras for the first time from March 21 -28, of this year! We stayed in a 400 series Bungalows and at first we thought it was a bit far from the main resort, But as the week went on we began to love it! What a nice way to start the day with a 10 minute walk along a Gorgeous white sand fluffy beach to get to our Breakfast spot. Our Favourite Breakfast spot was the international restaurant, Right off the path to the beach- We loved the quietness and the service was excellent-Thank you so much to Jenny, and Armando Both of whom where very attentive to our morning breakfasts-Thank you so much to you both-Jenny you will remember us as we were Jenny and Jeff, and i felt sorry for you the day your tummy was sick! LOL-Remember me? Loved the resort and it met our expectations 100 %- I Highly recommend the Sol Palmaras

We chose this resort based on reviews on TripAdvisor, and were not disappointed . As beach lovers, our number one attraction to Cuba is the beach, and we were not disappointed, the beach is beautiful. The water is clear and warm and there are no rocks in the water. We are early risers, so we never had trouble finding a palapa. We were able to change our beach towels daily. We stayed in the main building which suited our needs. The rooms are all being renovated, our room was not renovated yet, but it was fine. Room service was great, we had fresh towels daily and a two liter water bottle. (A small tip goes a long way) We spoke to people who were staying in the bungalows, and they were happy with them. The lobby is quite grand and impressive. There’s the main bar that is open 24 hours as well as on outside bar area for smokers. They have live entertainment in the lobby most evenings around 7:30, followed by nightly singing and dance shows near the pool at 9:30. We were impressed by the dance shows, however seating was limited. So if you arrive late you may have to stand for the show. They do their best when it comes to the food. This is Cuba, and things are limited, so you can’t expect the same quality as other countries, but they do there best with what they have. That being said, they had omelette stations for breakfast and a lot of vegetables and a good variety of breads every day. We ate at the specialty restaurants most nights because we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. For lunch there’s a BBQ located between the beach and pool which serves hamburgers and hotdogs. They also make a huge paella, vegetables and different meats or fish daily. Or you can choose to go to the buffet in the lobby. For a very impromptu last minute decision, we were happy with our choice and would definitely recommend this resort.

We had a great stay in Sol Palmeras ?? ??. It is a lovely spot with great beach and great people. Our kids had the best time with the entertainment team. Also, the staff from the guest service was the best, specially Osiris. We ll be back again soon ????????
