For policies purchased before July 24, 2026:
Coverage may be available under plans providing Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Travel Delay, or Emergency Medical benefits. Coverage eligibility depends on the specific terms and conditions of, and benefits included in, the plan.
For policies purchased on or after July 24, 2026:
This first became a known event as of July 24, 2026 and has continued to evolve since that time, resulting in expanding impacts. Plans generally exclude coverage for losses resulting from events that were known or foreseeable when the plan was purchased. As such, coverage may not be available for losses resulting from these wildfires in areas affected at the time the plan was purchased.
