    The Royal Concierge of Barcelo was extremely welcoming when I joined them on my trip in March of 2021. Veronica and Sandra were very professional and I enjoyed their service, and positive attitudes. I had my daily breakfast at the Royal Restaurant, where I was able to fine dine with top of the line food, good energy, and smiles from the team: Melvin, Lizette, Maria, and Natalie. For dinner, I highly recommend Kyoto, Japanese Restaurant. My sushi was phenomenal, and my service, was first class and very satisfying from Mirna and Mindy. Thank you very much for assisting with my reservation, and for the high level service, Maria Lorena Labrador!

    We recently stayed at Barcelo and loved it. The Zumba on the beach was really fun. Sandra and Veronica in the Concierge office were the best! Michael and Jimmy at the beach/pool bar were a lot of fun. The actual beach is gorgeous! The location is great and we were able to walk to several other bars and restaurants, although, with all of the festivities at the hotel, you don't really need to go anywhere else.

    This was my boyfriends 36th birthday trip. We enjoyed our stay at Barcelo Aruba every thing was beautiful and peaceful. Beautiful Beautifulllll room Great drinks, Great Staff and great guest a safe environment I love it!

    We stayed 5 nights at Barcelo. Veronica and Sandra in the Concierge office were super helpful and just great to work with. All the staff were so nice. Michael and Jimmy and Natisha at the pool bar and beach were a ton of fun. We will definitely stay again! We had a large group and everyone was so nice to us.

    Decided to stay here from reviews and wanted to try an all-inclusive. Really nice place and staff. Rooms are spotless. Booked a Deluxe Lanai Pool View room and would highly recommend these. There are only around 10 and they have a private patio area with two loungers, two chairs and a small table. Great shady place to relax (although not lighted enough to read at night). Beach staff were great but you do need to get out before 8 AM to get a palapa. But there are also plenty of places under the trees for shade. Much better beach than farther north - sand rather than crushed coral/shell. Great access to DePalm pier for tours and good on-site water sports vendor. Great pool with swim up bar (hot tubs not in use due to Covid). Generally you need a mask indoors per Aruba rules and when not seated in dining areas. All restaurants included (Royal Level only for those folks) but we really just enjoyed the buffet. Lots of variety and great service although hard to get a small portion - they love serving you. Also ate at the Beach Club restaurant our first day since buffet was closed for dinner prep. Great food there also. I've added some menus and hotel information to this review. We only saw people having reservation issues for restaurants on 2 days of our 6. The other days were wide open. No reservation needed for buffet, and only had a 10 group line on one night. Tables are very spread out, which limits how many guests they can have at one time. There are lots of great restaurants close to hotel (try Daniels Steak) and shops and souvenir stalls are right across the street. One thing a bit strange - you get one towel card each which you exchange for a pool towel. When you leave you must turn in your pool cards and wristbands to check out. Towel kiosk wasn't open when we got there the first day, so check hours (currently 7:30-5:00). There is a business workstation area for printing out your covid test results. You won't be able to check in for flights online since you must show your results and the CDC form. While the hotel doesn't offer testing they will point you to the facilities. Two within a few hundred meters to left, although one is only open after 9 AM. Go left to roundabout, cross street and proceed inland 30 meters, cross street and follow blue dots to Fit2Fly test facility. Open 7:30am and takes 15 minutes. Hotel recommended not getting test until 2 days before flight (Monday for Wednesday flight) and this works well. Results take roughly 24 hours for rapid antigen test and site knows what your airline accepts for where you are going. You will need to sign up for an account with them and they will email/text you when results ready for download. We arranged airport transfers when we booked our hotel room. Worked well. Visit the DePalm office at the hotel the day after you arrive to get a spot on the bus for your departure date. Recommend booking 4 hours minimum before your flight since it will take at least an hour to process through the airport with light crowd there. Could easily take 2 hours with multiple interviews, scanners and picking up and dropping luggage off between Aruba and US processing. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Barcelo and would certainly stay there again.
