    It has been 26 years since we were last in Aruba. We had a wonderful time. The staff at the Hyatt Regency are exceptional and the food/accommodations were great. One of the great things about Aruba is the weather is almost always guaranteed to be perfect. We will definitely be back soon!

    Great hotel in the perfect location. Walkable to restaurants & shopping.Service was excellent. Didnt feel the pool/beach chair stress that we normally do-casino was terrific(although smokey). Food was good. Very pleasant staff. Hotel accommodations were nice. Beach was awesome. Our new favorite island & hotel.

    Love/Hate Stay at the Hyatt

    I was excited to stay at the Hyatt Aruba during the first week of March for our one year wedding anniversary. Sadly, this resort did not live up to my expectations We arrived at 2:30 and was told our room was not ready so we opted to get some lunch. Around 3:40, our room still was not ready so we just had to waste time and wait for our room to be ready. We were finally checked in at 4PM and informed the front desk that we were celebrating a special occasion. Since we've been to the Hyatt in Kauai, we had hoped that we would have been treated the same way, given the premium price but unfortunately, that was not the case. We checked into our room and upon opening the door, our housekeeper was still in the room finishing up. Again, not the end of the world but come on at 4PM you should be finished! Food options seemed to be a bit limited in this hotel, with not many options. Pool service was lacking....oh boy was it lacking. Tell me why a resort decides to start pool service at 1130AM? That to me is WAY TOO LATE! If im sitting at the pool at 10AM I want a drink. I dont want to have to wait for it ( I am on vacation after all). The pool chair situation was HORRENDOUS. When you are on vacation, you want to relax. instead, the Hyatt has you reserving your chair at promptly 4PM online and by the towel hut. Stressful? Yes. Also, make sure to CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU CHECK OUT! Because this hotel only asks for your room number and last name on the bill, it is so easy to make up a name and room number to dodge charges. We had someone do this with a pool chair one day. They didnt give us a hassle to remove it but it just goes to show you that you could be getting someone else's charges on your bill. Lastly, I asked to check out a little later and was told to call the next morning. I had to complain to the manager about it who then gave in. I also made mention to management that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and had told the staff twice but nobody did anything for us. Even a "happy anniversary" would have been nice (again, we were figuring we would have gotten comparable service like we did in Kauai but we were sadly mistaken). I guess the complaint worked because they sent up a dish of macaroons and an individual bottle of champagne (Hyatt Kauai gave us 4 full bottles (!!) of wine and 2 boxes of chocolate). It's just disappointing that I said this in the beginning of our stay and no one acknowledged it until I complained about it. All in all, an OKAY stay. Probably will stay somewhere else next time around...maybe Marriot.

    Hyatt is a beautiful hotel in a prime location Beach and Huts were outstanding Didn't try the food much at the hotel restaurants Room was spacious, clean would def go back there again. The pool area is gorgeous and this hotel is right on the beach

    Nice stay at the Hyatt

    We stayed at this hotel for a week using points. I was impressed with the technology in the room. Clock on the mirror in the bathroom, lights that automatically turn on when you walk by. The majority of the rooms do not have full balconies, only juliet balconies which would have been disappointing had we decided to pay for one. Thankfully we did not. The reservation system for the umbrellas and beach palapas worked fine. Just be sure to log in right at 4, they go quickly. It was disappointing that there was not an adult only pool, as there were many kids around. I believe they are building one this year. The grounds are very nice compared the other hotels around. Service at the swim up bar was great! All in all it was a nice stay.
