This hotel is a lovely facility, we arrived very early and were very lucky to have a room available, so we could check in and put our luggage into our room. Bell service was available if our room was not ready. We had a fantastic view on California adventure from our window, with it still being dark gave us the most magical first look at park. Benefits of staying in a Disney hotel is magic morning which can be used both on check in and check out days. So we could access the park during this time. Walk time to park is around 15 minutes via Downtown Disney. Our son loved the lift calling system. The rooms were specious and very clean. All the staff we met were very kind and trendily

Old hotel, pool is very small and can’t accommodate their guests, outdated elevators, laundry room wasn’t working and it seems rarely is !! Rooms are very basic, not worth your money. The only benefit is that you can walk to downtown Disney but you can do this at the much nicer hotels in the area

Just finished up our stay at the hotel. Overall, this hotel is pretty good. Service was fine. It was clean. Cast members were friendly. Location is pretty good, too. However, if you’re looking to be dazzled by Disney magic, this isn’t the place for you. Very limited on the theming. Also, if plenty of dining options and super cool pool area are important, this hotel isn’t what you’re looking for. If, you want to be within reasonable walking distance to the parks and monorail station, this hotel might suit your needs. Also, if you’re inclined, I’d recommend springing extra for the park view room. That was a show stopper. There’s also much grousing about the elevators. I personally didn’t find them to be overly slow or complicated. The system is a bit different, but really not a burden. Whether this hotel is worth the extra money or not will very by needs and expectations. I’d stay here again probably, but it wouldn’t likely be my first choice. Happy travels!

    Solid but expensive

Ok the hotel has some upsides, 10-15 walk to Disneyland, great views of the water/laser show and fireworks and of course you get golden hour entry at the park, but you really do pay for it. Going with the family booked a family room, which is basically 2 queen beds in a room with a seperate bathroom. The room itself was scrupulously clean and well maintained but could do with a refresh. The staff were fantastic, helpful and friendly and the water dispensers by the lift a nice touch.

Hotel is old, feels it has not been updated since the 80s. The mattresses are not in good shape, the shower is rusty and the overall look and feel does not match the Disney magic. In the first 5 minutes at check in the lady in the desk tries to sell us all type of different stuff and upgrades that we did not needed, and when we got to the questions we had about the park she went into "robot answer mode" and was not very willing to help. Also, no real benefit for park users (in some days you get entrance an hour earlier but they are kind of random). Walking distance from parks is the only plus. Never coming back to this one...they should learn from Orlando hotels in terms of Disney experience and benefits for guests.
