Great beds in well appointed rooms. Staff as usual makes the stay even better. Gold floor was a great place to hang out and visit. Delicious treats and breakfast served as well. Checked in with us during trip to see if there was anything else they could do.

We really enjoy our stays at Fairmont MacDonald, with family based out of Edmonton, it’s a perfect retreat for us to unwind in comfort. We always stay on the Gold level, we have come to really enjoy the perks of the level. In particular we really appreciate the professionalism, diligence and kindness we receive from Keenan, he is always a pleasure to connect with and deserves high praise for his efforts. We also had the pleasure of meeting Rejean, who was very accommodating and kind to us. We never have a complaint, thank you so much.

This was the most amazing visit I've had yet. Reception, check in and valet was prompt, friendly and easy to navigate. Upon arriving in our room, we were greeted with a lovely upgrade and small gift to make our stay even more memorable. Dinner in the lounge was quiet and charming with incredible views of the river valley. We took a little trip downstairs to the pool/hot tub which was clean, warm and relaxing. Room service to end the evening was delicious, prompt and friendly. We had an exceptional stay and I hope you do too!

It's always wonderful staying at the hotel. I love the history of the building. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Staying on the gold floor and be able to go into the lounge for breakfast and and in the evening is nice and relaxing very quiet.

The Reno’s being done on the hotel are just beautiful. I was in the fifth floor and it’s been fully renovated, art deco decor and nice updated bathroom with a large shower. I have stayed here every year for the past 8 years and this was the nicest the room has ever looked.
