We had a fantastic stay We were treated extremely well, except by a waiter at the Grille who very rudely told us we couldn't sit in a reserved table that never did fill... Then he went out of his way to continue to ignore us and two other couples who didn't notice the tiny little reserved signs they have on the front tables We'll be leaving a big fat ZERO review for the Frill and it's piss poor management and customer service

Reserved a room at the Outrigger because this is the place the stay! I have stayed here before on numerous occasions. It features daily live music at 4pm and 9:30pm everyday. Best musical performance is with Henry Kapono for Dukes on Sunday! The hotel is situated in the center of Waikiki Beach. Numerous activities surround this location and the restaurants are fabulous!

Rooms and bathrooms spotless, staff very accommodating and friendly, snack / gift shop fairly priced! This is a 4 start hotel with a 5 star vision for customer care. Convenient to everything. Our lunch by the pool was very nice quality, and the server was very attentive. Thank you for making our trip excellent. Free shuttle (or limo) back to airport, but not from it. Valet staff terrific.

My husband and I spent 3 nights there, here’s the review. Pro: The hotel is right on the beach, great location. It’s also not too closed to the major tourist beach section (where the Duke Kahanamoku statue is), so it’s not crowded. Love it! The front desk, housekeeping and valet staff were super nice. We first checked into room 721 and noticed strong moldy smell. Called the front desk immediately and was changed to room 421. Someone came up to our room and gave the key, and we informed him there was “blood-look-alike” spatter on the wall, so maybe that was what caused the odor. He immediately shut the room off. Con: rooms can use a bit of update/renovation.

Let me start by stating that the hotel and staff were great. Our issue arrose when it came time to put our 2 year old son down for bed. We had a room which over looked the pool on the 4th floor. The music they play at the pool aide restaraunt was so loud that even I had a hard time sleeping let alone my son. Anyone with young kids or senstive sleepers should take this into account if considerint booking here. They dont stop playing blaring music until 10pm which is way past our sons normal bedtime. P.S. the rooms do have sound dampening windows (sliding doors) but they blast it so loud that they are hardly effective at all.
