We had a wonderful stay 4/30-5/8. Great service, beautiful views, good food, convenient for walking to shops, dining etc. We are loyal Marriott guests but Wailea Beach is top notch,! Looking forward to returning.

PLEASE do not book here if you want a romantic honeymoon. The pools close at 4:30. Food is just okay. If you are outside of your room laughing or talking after midnight you are asked to go back inside and keep it quiet. Honestly, I felt like I was at summer camp being babysat. I will never choose to spend my hard-working money at this resort again. The only reason why I’m writing this is so someone does not make the same mistake. We are returning to the island at the end of the month because it is so beautiful. We are trying an Airbnb this time.

    Perfect!

We stayed at the Marriott Wailea for our honeymoon in February. It was truly magical!!! Everything was amazing from the staff, food, and manicured grounds. The views are stunning and every afternoon you could see whales jumping! Our only complaint is the chair situation for the pool. It was not explained to us at check-in that pool chairs had to be reserved daily and if you don’t check in by 11am they are given away to the waiting list. If this occurs, you end up without a chair or in our case at the family pool which is not the atmosphere we were looking for on our honeymoon. This incident aside, everything was perfect. The COVID precautions that were taken made us feel very safe during our 2 weeks in paradise.

We stayed here for a week over New Year’s with our three children and had an amazing time. The resort is situated steps from the ocean between two gorgeous beaches, Ulua and Wailea?. We loved absolutely everything about our stay and had no problem getting chairs at the pool each day, booking using the convenient app. It was our kids’ first time in Hawaii so we did the luau at the Marriott on New Year’s Eve. It was fun but I wouldn’t do it a second time (my husband & I did one at the Andaz a couple of years ago which felt more upscale with tastier food.) We had two rooms that were oceanfront and very comfortable. We also enjoyed meeting the GM, who like me is a South Carolina native, which was pretty cool! We stayed on points and it was an incredible use of them. I highly recommend this resort for anyone. Just gorgeous.

Every single part of our 3 night stay at Marriott Wailea was outstanding. My husband and I, along with our adult daughter rented 2 rooms, one an Ocean Suite and one a Premium Ocean View Room. They were adjacent, with a foyer entryway to access them which provided nice privacy. The rooms and beds were very nice, clean and comfortable with updated decor. The air-conditioning worked great and the showers hod good water pressure and plenty hot water. Room service was so terrific, we opted for breakfast on our lanai every morning. It was delivered quickly, eggs to order, and everything either hot or cold as appropriate. Outstanding! We ate 2 meals at Kapa Grill, and the food and service were great. My review of Kapa is on Open Table. The bell staff were always ready to assist. One evening they even took us to dinner at Lineage at Wailea Village....and took us on a shortcut in the golf cart! Took only 5 minutes, and we were able to drink wine with dinner! We needed to have a document printed while we were there. No problem. I called to inquire how to go about it, and was given clear, easy directions. We were very appreciative. We had such a great time, and felt very welcome as well as comfortable. We highly recommend The Marriott Wailea.
