Beautiful place ! Good food & great room but there was no Internet service , we are business owners and WI GI is a must when we travel There was no bottled water in my room , no conditioner for my hair and only one small bottle of shampoo for 4 of us. Customer service was very poor at the front desk too. Thank you for hearing me out Mr & Mrs Delatorre
Without Bo Derek it’s still a nice beach

Not a big fan of the all inclusive regardless of category but Manzanillo’s small and only blue beach Tesoro is still a nice and reasonably priced option for a short stay for nationals or international visitors. The pool is ocean front along with mostly ocean view rooms. All room amenity are similar, bath and fixtures, just different size living space and balcony or patio based on room category. This is a family friendly resort and not a come and drink from dawn till dawn. The liquor options are mid range. I think the best part of the stay is the food; both ala carte and buffet, the food was tasty and appealing to the eye and palette. Vegetarian options were given high scores. The only reason for the lower score overall is the dated early 1980 style and stark white pase color scheme. Overall a good value.
Wow what a way to celebrate in the 2020 New Year in Manzanillo Colima Mexico

From the moment you step out of the taxi and onto the property you are greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome to Tesoro. Your luggage is quickly tagged and off you go to the Check-in line, again you are greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. They process you in a very timely manner. Now you are off to your room. The rooms are very clean and neat. Your luggage arrives shortly by another friendly smile. I cannot say enough about how amazing the staff is at the Tesoro Hotel. The ladies in the Spa will take care of all your pains with a relaxing massage, need your hair done they can do it. Want a facial they have that too. They are the best. The nightly entertainment is a very special group of guys and ladies that are unique with their specialty of dance and acting. I showed a video of one of the shows to a co-worker and she said they are amazing. They work together as a team and it shows. They are all special and the costumes are out of this world. The wait staff at all of the resturaunts are amazing! They greet you at each meal with a warm smile and a welcome. The food is excellent. The bartenders are amazing as well. The pool activities staff and the staff that entertain the children in the children's area are amazing too. They keep you busy with all their activities from 8am to 6pm there is always something to do. From the front of the hotel to the back of the hotel and on the beach the grounds are well maintained by a hearty group of men and women. The housekeepers keep your room clean and sometimes they might even make your towel into a flower or animal. They take pride in their work. I celebrated the New Decade and New Year 2020 with a Bang in Manzanillo. The buffet, music and fireworks was amazing. It took my breath away with all the food. The music was fantastic I danced the night away. The fireworks was like watching the 4th of July in our hometown. Is it safe yes it is. I walk around the two penesula's by myself and I am greeted with more Hola's (Hi) from everyone I pass long the way. The flowers and nature are beautiful. The beach is another place to walk and play. Pacifico has a cruise during the day that will take you to an area to snorkel and enjoy other sites like maybe some dolphins or even a whale. Everyone is so friendly even the locals in town and along the strip. If you need your coffee fix at Starbucks they have one of those on the strip, but I perfer the coffee at the hotel they will make you a cappachino with your meal. The Tesoro Hotel has many english speaking workers. It is a family orientated hotel, but couples can enjoy themselves too. They have live music or the disco every night. I also, enjoy going to El Centro Manzanillo where the big Sail Fish is you never now you might see a group of elementry kids doing exercies in the park. They are so cute in their uniforms. I cannot wait to go back.
Never Ever Again

Our room was beautiful Master Suite overlooking the ocean with a wrap around deck. The Bell Captains were great and many spoke english and although there were some english speaking front desk and restraurants it was at a minimal but the ones that did were awsome. We also felt the all inclusive was a big rip off - there was not a restraurant you could order off a menu that was pre-cooked, the snack bar was a joke - room service....non existant, wine selection was awful. We ordered a bucket of beer pool side and were informed no buckets only 4 oz clear plastic glasses with one kind of beer - light or dark, by the time it arrived you could have one sip and it was warm. There was no wine list to be had and when you finished your meal and asked to take your dessert to the room, you were not allowed. We ate in 8 days 3 times for dinner, once lunch & breakfast ALL INCLUSIVE-I THINK NOT. We went outside the hotel and had wonderful meals. Not the hotels fault, but the other guests were rude and we felt because we were americans they could be pushy. Now lets talk about WI-FI, yes they have it for 75 pesos a day you had to use it in the hot humid lobby and don't let your battery run low as there wasn't an outlet to be had. If you wanted to relax in your room unless you spoke espanol out of 100 channels, there was one in english for about 2 hours a day and never at the same time. Our bed was made but oh they forgot new coffee cups and pods, no washcloths, hand towels or bathmats. On a positive note - the entertainment in the evening was lovely if you love to dance and didn't care if you understood one word. My husband and I travel throughout mexico and will continue to do so, but never here again, we just wanted to try something different to celebrate our anniversary and a monumental birthday. All that said, we still love mexico and we make the best of whatever our situation is.
Excellent service and Best Buffet

We absolutely loved this place. It is very low key, just what we needed on a nice beach where you will mostly find local families. Very fun. The service in this hotel was outstanding. Everyone was so generous and willing to help with anything and everything. That includes the girls in the spa. Normally we do not care much about buffet food, however, in this resort we truly enjoyed all of the buffet food. It was the best buffet food we have ever had anywhere. Each night a different theme was served , it was all very well prepared and super fresh. The waitstaff was very attentive and accomodating. This resort caters to local people and so the food was not "americanized" and neither was the coffee. The beach is very nice and the building is clean and beautiful. WiFI only in the lobby, so for you who need to work, might not be the best place, for those of you who want a vacation, its perfect. We will return to this resort.
