A perfect stay . I was treated like a Queen as soon as I arrived which set the tone for my whole stay .The grounds are so beautiful and fun and service incredible. I even was met by chief one who introduced himself to me in person making me feel special and taken care of. The food is excellent with wide range of choices pizza at swim at bar is theno real thing and a fun spot with swim up bartenders creating fancy drinks with up beat energy. The coffee shop is brilliant with excellent coffee and dangerously good crepes. The water sports guys are so fun and patient happy to teach you new waters sports and got me me a pro in knee boarding . I even learnt my open water scuba whilst there thanks to Esroy who is the best and the dive center staff all helpful and lovely. Bruce at Buffet always spoilt me and great team so attentive and freindly. Kemar bartender and co worker whip out most incredible artistic yummy cocktails like a magic trick in the kids area and great fun vibes . The water slide is so fun with amazing views from above..So many great staff Neikos services top notch so is O'Dell at guest services who i love booking next trip with always a pleasure . Chris the GM is amazing and with great energy . I only had good experiences with staff and all made my stay so special and a huge thank you from bottom of my heart for making the best experience ever especially during this stressful year and I couldn't recommend Beaches more , I wouldn't wait around just book your be in best hands im wonderland paradise treated like Royalty .

After 10 years of traveling to Beaches Turks and Caicos, when they didn’t reopen for our trip booked Thanksgiving week we were fortunate to book Beaches Negril. I was a little reluctant because I LOVE Turks, but after a week in Negril, I now have a dilemma on my hands as to where we’ll vacation moving forward! I traveled with my two sons, 21 and 18 and 70 year old mother. We had a family suite that was basically 2 connecting rooms, one with 2 double beds, the other with a King and sofa pullout. The rooms are nice, not luxurious, but comfortable. Compared to Turks they would be better than Caribbean/French village but not as nice as Italian or Key West. What truly sets Negril apart is the staff! Shout out to Monique at the beach/pool bar, Vonalee our housekeeper, Prince and Adrian who kept everyone entertained, Courtney and Steven at Mariachi, lifeguards Orlando and Ceon, Sanjay at water sports and Rohan at the dive shop. My younger son said he felt like a celebrity because he was recognized everywhere he went and the staff knew his name. The resort was 100% occupied. We spent the first 5 days on the beach. The water is so warm and nice and shallow. Chairs as at any resort are an issue, but I would get up at 6:30 to get ours. I enjoyed this peaceful time before the day started. Watching all the hard work that the lifeguards and other staff do to clean the beach, spray the chairs, butlers setting up cabanas, tractor going up and down to rake the beach - it warmed my heart to see their dedication. Spent the last 2 days at the main pool. Traveling with older kids, this was a good hangout due to water volleyball and proximity to beach volleyball. The Piazza pool is near the water park and had activities throughout the day, as did the main pool, but to a lesser extent. Sometimes I was the only one in the main pool in the middle of the day! Food was great at every restaurant. Our favorite was Mariachi. With Covid, reservations were needed for dinner and I had only booked one night at Mariachi, but after we ate there, I promptly changed the next night! Food was great, but Courtney and Steven made dinner fun. They were helping at Negril, but normally work at Ocho Rios. For snorkeling and diving you have to sign up the day before. Our first snorkel day was cancelled due to conditions and the next day was already full. I came back the next day to sign up again and Rohan had already put us on a trip. Snorkeling was fun, plenty of fish to see! Trips go out several times a day. One thing lacking was an activity guide to fully inform of everything going on. We had to ask for something after check in, and we were provided a multi page (one for each day of the week) document of activities, but it didn’t include the water sports schedule, dive/snorkel schedule or tennis or water aerobics. For water sports they offer wakeboarding/waterskiing until noon and then banana boat starts at 2pm. I’m pretty sure they had kids club and teens/tweens activities, but no info distributed in rooms or at check-in. The restaurants have the menus via QR code, it would be great if there was an activity guide available. If you’ve made it this far, thank you - didn’t plan on writing a novel! If you have any hesitation about travel during COVID, please know that we felt safer everywhere in Jamaica compared to the states. From the protocols in place at the airport to the resort everyone is wearing masks (staff, not guests), and sanitizing happens upon entering any building. I can only imagine how wonderful it will be to see the smiling faces of all the Jamaicans when this pandemic is over. They are the nicest people I’ve ever met! Even the beach vendors! Until next time Jamaica!

Where to begin...our stay at Beaches Negril was wonderful. The resort was immaculate, very manageable and most importantly safe. I know the State Department has warned against travel to Jamaica because of safety. However, I must say that I felt completely safe while at Beaches. But what made our stay so memorable was the excellent staff. By the end of our stay, they were family...Ann Marie was the best beach attendant we could have possibly had. She attended to our every need and made our drinks herself. She taught us about the local customs and historical background that we otherwise would have missed out on. Orlando helped get us settled each morning on the beach and even on his evening off went on our private boat ride with us on our last night. Alex and Popeye were with us on several water sports activities, but none more special than our private boat excursion our last night...we went cave snorkeling, to Rick's Cafe and to watch a beautiful sunset on the water our last night. Their attention to detail and overall love of what they do showed in the great job they did...were are a fun group and love to cut up and they were all in! When getting your photos taken, make sure you request Cash...so many times taking photos can be stressful...but we had the best time and he captured some great moments. When it comes to the food Jermaine has the corner on the jerk chicken, short ribs and Coco bread... Our family is all Disney...parks (USA, Asia, Europe) and cruises...but I have already booked a return trip to Beaches!! The most relaxed I've been in a while

Our first but not last Beaches vacation!

We just got home from our first ever Beaches trip.  We chose Negril based on the reviews of staff and beach.  Neither were a disappointment.   The beach is stunning,  like nothing I have ever seen.  The staff worked very hard every morning to make sure everything was always clean.  The vendors are a little much even when you tell them "no thank you" but we didn't let that ruin our experience.  The resort is big enough to get "misplaced" at first but small enough that our 11 year old was able to roam freely.  Our room was located right on the side of Yoyo's (room 315).  Excellent view!  The rooms were very spacious and clean.  We would definitely request this location again. The resort overall is beautiful!   The majority of our time was spent at the Piazza Pool which is a fantastic spot for parents to enjoy while kids go to the waterpark and on the slides.  We felt very comfortable sitting by the pool while Noah played freely without mom and dad stalking him ??   Now to the staff... we met some absolutely wonderful people!!!  Monique at the Kids Camp was the absolute sweetest!  She would make her way over to us anytime she saw us just to tell our Noah hello (which made his day).  Vanneisa (hope I spelled it correctly) who we first met at the Mexican restaurant was so full of life.  Even with the mask you could see her smile in her eyes.  The entertainment staff, Adrian, Dershea and Hakiem kept everyone smiling and having a good time by the pool.  From dance offs to water guns fights it brought so much laughter each day.  The lifeguards, Neiko and Basil, were so engaged with the kids and would go out of their way to talk to them when out and about in the resort.  The bartenders, Adrian "H" and Tajay...not going to lie, we have love for these guys like they are our family.  They knew exactly what you were drinking after the first time.  Make sure to get you a mesmerizor from "H" and ask Tajay for his signature drink (Cotton Candy).  There are probably some I am forgetting but these few MADE OUR TRIP!!!  We can't wait to return!

Incredible staff and customer service! We went to Beaches Negril over Thanksgiving when our trip to Turks and Caicos got postponed when the resort didn’t open as scheduled. We have a special needs son and our family really needed a break. My husband was looking forward to diving, my son to all the activities and I just wanted a quiet place on the beach to relax. Unfortunately, my week started off pretty rough. Our room was in a loud and highly trafficked location, I couldn’t get away from the incredibly LOUD music at both pools. (I wasn’t the only person who had issues with the volume). I couldn’t find a quiet place even down on the beach. My son has special needs but my sensory system felt stressed to the max. Thankfully, I contacted the manager and Della and her staff immediately to the rescue! They lowered the volume at the pools. They changed it to where if one pool had loud music, the other didn’t. They wholeheartedly agreed one should be able to find a quiet place at the resort when wanted. They moved our room to a quiet location. I went from wanting to fly home early to looking at how soon we can go back! They even found me several times to check on how I was doing and if there was anything else I needed! The kids club and staff here is beyond amazing. I was excited to experience a place where the staff is trained in autism and special needs and they did not disappoint. Monique was our son’s Beaches Buddy all week and there are not words to describe how wonderful she is. She truly made our vacation special. Parents of special needs kids rarely get a break or time alone and she stayed with our son doing whatever he wanted from basketball to the water park, sailing and even riding the banana boat with him! My husband and I actually had several hours each day to relax and spend some time alone together (when he was above water lol!). I just can’t find the words to thank her and the kids club staff enough! The food was great also. Soy and Stewfish on the beach were our favorites. Lobster on the last night was wonderful. The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because of the rough start for me. I wish I hadn’t lost those first couple of days. But, chalk it up to our first all-inclusive experience and now I know not to be shy and ask for what we need in advance. My husband and son loved it from the start. I’m sure our next trip here will be 5+ for all of us.
