    Check in was a nightmare. There was a long line and only one clerk helping out non- Marriott Bonvoy status, My husband, who I was not not traveling with has with, has a high status. So I proceed to Bonvoy status line, where while they did check me in told me I shouldn't have been in the much shorter status line, as my husband was not on the reservation. Elevators were always packed and had a long wait. Room was a typical Marriott room, but expect more for the $600 nightly rate. Bathroom had some updates, but had original bathtub and tile. They did not provide a room bill, like most hotels under the door prior to check out, but because the check in/ check line was so long I opted for telephone check and had to call twice to obtain my bill. For the price, there are better properties in mid-town to stay in.

    Excellent customer service, This hotel is a well oiled machine!The rooms are spacious and clean! Housekeeping was very quiet and I was extremely comfortable in my room! Definitely recommend this for your NYC area business trip,BroadwayShow,or just to take in the majesty of the city. The rooms could be renovated. We had a wonderful view from our Times Square Room!

    Absolutely awesome location. Right in the middle of Broadway and walking distance to many shows and activities. Amenities are great including fitness and restaurant/bars. Recommend if bonvoy member ask for room on side with lounge. Lounge is great!

    cannot deal with the crowded elevators

    I have stayed at this hotel at least three times now. It has been a combination of business or meeting friends. In other words, I have not chosen this hotel myself. If you are claustrophobic or impatient, dealing with the elevators is a nightmare. It takes multiple missed elevators before you can actually get on one. They are extremely packed and if you have luggage, it is very awkward. If you attempt to get on an elevator when people are heading to the theatre or returning from a show, good luck. Also if you need to leave your baggage with the porters when checking out of the hotel, the line for this is extremely long and time consuming. I will say that retrieving the baggage in the driveway area outside was very easy. The accommodations themselves were fine, as was housekeeping. However, the elevators are the deciding factor and I will avoid staying here again.

    I chose this hotel for my stay in nyc because of its location only, which is great that’s why I’m giving it 2 stars. Check in and check out was really slow. Check in was supposed to be at 4pm and our rooms weren’t even ready yet. Our rooms were never cleaned, only once in a 5 day stay. I had to call front desk and even went down and talked to them in order to get my room cleaned, it didn’t work. People on my floor started leaving their dirty towels on the hallway as a form of protest. We had a 30usd voucher to use at the bar every day of our stay. The bar service was slow and waitresses were rude. Not a very nice way to spend the evening.
