    The best hotel durning New Years Eve

    the hotel is really kid-friendly and the room I went to fit 6 people and it was a small room the staff were really friendly the only downside that wouldn't really be serious that it's crowded and there was no security measuring around my zone except for Bryant park and other places but not this area really think NYPD should do much better .of course the hotel check-in is easy and quick but luggage has to be pulled up by the escalator to the second floor. Um the time of travel was back on December 31, 2017, and 2016 it's not december 2019

    this was my 5th time in NY my 1st at crown plaza and i must say i will never try another hotel we travel for a cycling event and i have never feel more confortable at ny in a hotel than at crown the rooms are HUGE and if you have been at NY you will know that room are really small when i said HUGE is they are HUGE we were traveling with two bikes two bike cases and 2 lugagges and we had plentty of space besides you are in the middle of time squared what else can you ask for if you like having space deffinetly stay at crown is amazing and hotel is really nice

    IHG/Crowne Plaza Not honoring their policy and processing refunds. Citing associates on lay-off.

    Of course my reservation for July was cancelled as the hotel was closed for the pandemic. I received my cancellation in late June. It's been over 4 months and still have not received the refund. The IHG cancellation policy states "If you cancel a rate which required a deposit or payment in advance, we will do everything we can to process your refund as quickly as possible. Refunds ... may take up to 90 days for hotels to process from the date of cancellation...." So far it's been 120 days and I received this reply recently. ". Unfortunately, the Hotel remains completely closed, with all of its associates on lay-off, awaiting an infusion of Capital from its lenders. There is still no firm timeline to provide as to when the Hotel will be able to continue processing refunds." Unacceptable. I know of no other chain that is holding customer's money hostage as is Crowne Plaza IHG.

    Had to cancel our trip in July, that was booked for August, due to COVID-19. At that time, I was told I’d have a refund in September. In September, I was told October. It’s now October, I’ve made several attempts to check status on my refund and I’ve not received any response or refund. Extremely disappointed in the customer service and communication. I’ve had to cancel several other trips since July, all of which I received my hotel refund in just a few days. I’ve been patient and understanding of the impact this has had, for four months, but now this is starting to feel like I’m getting the run around and I’ll never see my refund!

    Had booking for June, 2020 which was cancelled in april due to covid. Was told i would receive full refund in 90 days but never received it. After many calls and messages was told i would receive it by end of august. Again never received it. Contacted Crowne plaza again to be told i would receive it shortly. Still no word. I had other trips and flights cancelled by other companies and received full refunds no problem. Think it is shocking that still not received refund and when i call get passed about.
