Great Experience
rominders2020 on Mar 17, 2024
This was my second trip to Manhattan and my first stay at this hotel. The service was great from the front desk to cleaning crew. I especially appreciated Jay from the cafeteria who I learned was the Food and Beverage supervisor. He noticed our meal selection during our first breakfast and approached my family and took the initiative and effort to understand our dietary restrictions/requirements. He made adjustments to the menu for us and provided a genuine interaction every day we were there. Overall, great experience.

Hotel was in a great, convenient location. Great free breakfast and staff was very friendly and attentive. Shay at the front desk was very helpful and courteous. and so was Chris at the bell station. They really made me feel welcomed and at home. Great looking rooftop bar with awesome view, but it’s only open during the warmer months. I will definitely come back.
Great location next to Penn Station

This hotel is a great option for budget-minded travelers traveling by Amtrak--it is literally across the street from Moynihan Train Hall at Penn Station. The room was compact but adequate and the breakfast buffet had a pretty good set of options. My only real complaint is that the bathroom sink was too tiny.
Our go-to NYC stay for all the right reasons

The Fairfield Inn & Suites New York Midtown Manhattan Penn Station is our preferred stay whenever we are in NYC. The location is prime Midtown, adjacent to both Penn Station and Madison Square Garden, and the property is immaculate and welcoming. We have stayed here eight times in the past three years, and we keep coming back because of the dependably professional service of the staff. Jay, the food service manager at breakfast, stands out for his true concern for providing a great start to the day for guests. He's clearing tables, supervising the food buffet and greeting guests with a smile and true interest in ensuring they have a good experience. Chutney in reception is a welcoming presence and makes a point of greeting return guests with sincere cheer. Chris in the bellhop station deserves a shoutout, as well, for alerting us that our preference for a luggage rack in our room can be added to our customer profile -- a nice touch that will save us from having to call to request it on our next visit. We're looking forward to our next stay in a couple of months.
We'll be back!

My gosh what a find! We typically stay within the Times Square area, but this time due to travel schedule I searched for a hotel near Penn Station and to find a good one directly across was such a score. Lovely helpful staff, nice rooms, quiet, and a great location. We weren't able to take advantage of the included breakfast due to our departure but the set up looked great. On that note, a staff member was able to score us a yogurt, piece of fruit, and a danish to take with us, which was quite kind. If we'd had a bit more time, we could've gone to the 24/7 place just around the corner, another great plus for this location We'll certainly stay there next time we go to NYC as a good launch pad for our wandering.
