We spent our mini honeymoon in Anaheim for the Disney Parks. Our stay at the Hampton Inn was so delightful and memorable! I must mention Ivan & Breanna, staff members, from whom we received top notch service. This review is way over due but the pandemic distracted us.

I usually have good experiences with Hilton brands but not so great here. First room had a tub full of water from dripping faucet, hair all over vanity pull out shelf and a broken lanai gate that wouldn't close. Moved to an upper floor suite that was nicer but still not as clean as it should be and views from back of hotel aren't great. The refrigerator only opened a few inches because of baseboard...poor design. I realize I was in a resort area with well used rooms but for the prices we pay maintaining and keeping the facilities clean is not an option to me. Jesus at the front desk tried to accommodate us but these things were not his fault. He said he comped our parking fee but actually did not because it was part of the room rate we were charged. The hotel is a short drive to Disney parking but wouldn't recommend walking it. On the up side....breakfast was great and the two employees working it kept it up well.
Won't be going back!

If you like to be rudely awoken by deliveries at 5am, have the pool make you break out in hives due to chemicals not correct, and have staff that are rude, then this is the hotel for you. For a good experience, go elsewhere! This hotel was the worst!

I chose this Hotel because i have stayed in this chain of hotel and have always had a pleasant stay. I chose to stay here for a family trip to Disneyland. I had read in the reviews, back in Nov that one of the elevators did not work. Surprisingly 3 months later, the elevator was still not fixed. This is big deal when their are six floors and the hotel is full and their are only 2 elevators. The wait for the one elevator was not so pleasant. The room was very clean, the furniture had some stains, but in overall the room was clean. Their was a connecting door, and we could hear everything that the next room was talking— and one day, they were arguing at 6am!!! The hallway had a weird smell of nail polish, very unpleasant, when i called the front desk— they stated that someone else had also called to complain about the smell, yet i saw no one on the floor addressing the issue or checking. The breakfast was pretty decent, except sometimes the eggs on the buffet were cold. We witnessed a homeless person enter the breakfast buffet area, when we advised the front desk of the situation, the ladies continued to talk and did nothing. The man left with a load of food and they just stood their and witnessed it. I felt that was inappropriate being that i was sitting in a table with my kids and that homeless man could have been dangerous. (I didnt really care about the food— i was more concerned about my family’s safety). When i checked out they were charging me a different fee then what the web stated for parking, when i addressed this to the front desk, the lady asked me if i had proof — i went on the Hilton web site and showed it to her. She said she would fix it, but that the price of parking changed 2 years ago and they should change it. I think overall, Hilton had a little bit of work to do in this particular Hotel, both with staff as well as maintence.

Don’t go if the elevator has not been repaired. Very long wait times and crowded. Lots of noise from both guests and repair men all times of day and night. This was a very disappointing experience and not typical of Hampton inn.
