This is a very fun resort hotel. Fantastic for kids, although we didn't see lots of characters but that was not a priority for us. It had a very relaxed atmosphere but still felt like the upmarket resort that it is - great combination. We splurged and stayed on the club level, and were incredibly well taken care of. Big shout out to the outstanding concierge team of Ms Ryan and Mr Jim, who are truly the poster children for customer service and a real asset to the Disney hospitality brand. Our rooms faced the lagoon with Cinderella's Castle in the distance so we enjoyed the fireworks every evening with a glass of nice wine in our hand. The pools and associated amenities were also very nice -- great slides for the kids. In the evening we found a very fun tucked away bar called Trader Sam's Grog Grotto, which is an experience all its own. Unfortunately, all of the finer dining options at the Polynesian were fully booked before we even planned this trip but it was easy to hop the monorail and dine elsewhere (i highly recommend The Wave at the Contemporary). Access to and from the Magic Kingdom couldn't have been easier, even during peak travel times, when I noticed longer monorail lines at some of the other hotels. Much fun across our three generations was had by all at the Poly!

My favorite Disney resort, unfortunately I can’t afford to stay here often, but when I can I always have a great experience. I love this resort partly for nostalgia reasons, it’s were I stayed with my parents when I first fell in love with Disney. Aside from that, I love the theming here, the lush landscape, the tiki torches, the background music; it’s like a tropical getaway in the middle of the busiest theme parks on the planet. Discovered the quiet pool at the oasis on this trip, it is a salt water pool and we spent hours each day relaxing in it. Poly is super convenient monorail ride away from magic Kingdom and Epcot which is huge benefit too.

Words cannot express how much my family and I love Disney's Polynesian Village. The location (on the monorail line), the friendly staff, the Hawaiian feel, and the food are definitely worth the extra $$$. We always try to stay here on our trips to Disney and, if we don't, no other resort ever lives up to it.

We absolutely loved this resort. We felt like we were in Hawaii the entire time. From the music that's piped all over to the staff greeting you with "Aloha". Very immaculately maintained, gorgeous gardens, nice rooms and amenities. We were very happy with our stay, not one thing was out of place or went awry during our visit. Easy access to park via monorail, boat or coach. I would definitely stay here again but we stay at a new resort each time! Our 9 year old found 3 hidden Mickey's in our room alone!

Horrible experience and we have been here 2hours

Hardly the Disney experience! We checked in and were told the aloha dinner show was sold out, waited 30 min for luggage to be brought to our room, 30 min for concierge service. We get a concierge to be told the aloha dinner show had availability. I really had high hopes for an awesome Disney resort experience for the first time and so far it has been nothing but stress and I feel like I wasted my money! Beyond disgusted with this experience! I will never stay here again! Staff are rude as well
