This one of the older resorts in Puerto Vallarta and is a gem along the south coast. The restaurant featured a delicious special each night and all employee were attentive and friendly. Silly afternoon bingo and poker made for fun interactions and live music proved 5 nights of the week gave a lovely 2 hours time for dancing, listening or just relaxing by the pool area. Raul, our bar waiter and dinner waiter was excellent

Large 1 bedroom with kitchen and balcony. Soothing sounds of crashing waves pervade day n night even with closed doors, interrupted by street noise and occasional live band. Private lagoon full of tropical fish; rent mask, snorkel and fins. Older establishment but well run.

Costa Sur is amazing. Can't wait for our next trip. Service from Marco, Erika, Moises and Ivete and Juan and Roman was perfect!

Have been with family a couple times, but this is our first full week. Came with a number of family members and the resort and the staff are fantastic. Big shout out to Nito and Raul. Great service and even better people. Will be back again soon.

Costa Sur is starting to show its age, but its location and staff more than make up for worn decor and patched maintenance . Location and personal, friendly staff outshine any inconvenience. Special shout out to waiter Raul and bellhop JuanQuintero who took very good care of us. All rooms face the ocean with either a small outdoor area off studio rooms or a large balcony with table / chairs in 1 or 2 bedroom units. A covered bus stop for the inexpensive municipal busses going in both directions is right at the front door. No need to rent a car or taxis. You can’t beat the value .
