Beautiful, tranquil, small, exquisite are words that come to mind when describing this all inclusive boutique resort. This was our seventh visit and it was wonderful to spend 24 nights within Casa Velas. With it’s unique charm and colourful guests which are like minded and well travelled we enjoyed every moment. Nestled within a golf course and an easy stroll to the Marina area and a short stroll or shuttle drive to Tau Beach Club you can experience many different aspects during your time at Casa Velas. You will find yourself immersed in a sense of a calm, non party atmosphere and be looked after by the incredible team members. We travel extensively and have yet to find another resort which is anything like Casa Velas! Thank you and we look forward to visiting again very soon! Onto the very special mentions! Housekeeping:: Elvira & Ramona, our suite was kept impeccable by them and fresh towels, linens & toiletries were ample. Hardworking beautiful ladies. Ofelia always keeping the ground spotless, a very hardworking team member. Lobby bar:: Freddy, such a kind gentleman Jerry with his conscientious knowledge on a variety of positions he holds within the resort. You are an asset to the team! An incredible sommelier with extensive knowledge. Rodolfo, very helpful Oswaldo Emiliano’s Restaurant:: Chef Hugo, always creating, caring and delivering incredible gastronomic delights Assistant Chef Ernesto Assistant Chef Guillermo Captain Eduviges, a gentleman with eyes and ears everywhere that cares about you the guests and his dedicated team as well. Daniel, a wonderful man with time to share his expertise and fun to converse with. Rocia, a beautiful lady with many talents and who truly cares about the guest’s experiences. Jesus Fatima Alfredo Oscar Avalos Aqua Pool bar:: Ramon, such a hard working man. Ulises, superb service and always cheerful and checking on the guests requirements. Juan, an excellent addition to the Aqua Bar team. Tau beach club:: Captain Rigo a very hard working captain Chef Sandra, delicious culinary creations Chef Danielle Enrique with his wonderful welcoming demeanour Antonio, service with a smile always. Eric a hardworking young man eager to please and such a conscientious team member. Benny Santa Luna always keeping Tau clean and pristine Alejandro, room snack attendant, thank you for keeping us supplied with snacks during our stay. Sergio one of the incredible groundskeepers who looks after this beautiful resort. Very kind and helpful. You made such a difference to our poolside experience! Thank you!

My wife and I are at Casa Velas waiting for the airport transport. What a great week we had. Every meal was excellent and that is an understatement. The service by Alvaros, Jesus, Fatima, Daniel and Ulyses was unbelievably attentive. What a nice group of people. The scenery and grounds are gorgeous, the room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. All in all we had a lovely week and head home very relaxed.

We spent a week at Casa Velas for my husband's birthday. This trip heavily exceeded expectations. The food was top tier, we ordered a wide variety over our stay and everything was spectacular. We felt no need to go out to eat elsewhere at all. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly, Daniel, Rodolfo, Emilio, and Oscar kept drinks full whether it be water or amazing cocktails, made great recommendations for meals, and made us feel like family. The pool was gorgeous, shallow and big, perfect for hanging out. Lot's of places to sit and relax or talk to other guests and plenty of lounge chairs and cabanas that you weren't up early saving a spot. Ulises and Ramon at the pool bar were perfectly attentive and helpful. The spa was lovely, we had pedis done as well as a massage and facial. The driver, Armando, was very friendly and accommodating taking us back and forth to the pool resort, Tau. We had such am amazing trip, we are already booking next year! Can't wait to go back.

Excellent small resort. The pool staff, Ulises, Juan, and Ramon are top of the line. They are attentive and always so above and beyond. The food and drinks are top notch. The restaurant staff is also amazing. Rodolpho has been superb. Would highly recommend for a low key adult vacation.

We’ve been to this resort twice and have been impressed both times. This is an amazing resort! Ulises, Juan and Ramon at the pool bar will take amazing care of you and bring you anything you need! Be sure to ask for them by name. We will be back again to experience the fantastic service.
