    We stayed at this hotel for our xmas vacation this year and it was very enjoyable. The staff is very very pleasant and welcoming, the entertainment staff does a great job at keeping the guests entertained and everyday there is a different theme. The facilities are clean and organized, the rooms are clean and comfortable but our bathroom was not up to par. It needed to be renovated as it had signs of work being done to it so it look aesthetically not to the level of the room. Now the food: it was delicious, and keep in mind that we are vegans so immediately we had reservations regarding this since we have had a bad experience last year in Mallorca where there was almost nothing for us. This was not the case here, immediately there were SO MANY options on every meal and on top of that we got a letter from the PR department to give to the head chef Julio Manzanillo to try and accommodate us as best as possible and oh boy he did. Basically made us a la carte food several times which made everything so much easier especially with out 1.5 y/o son who is also Vegan. Overall I rate this hotel very very good! JT

    First off let me say that the hotel location and staff are great, the beach is very well looked after and safe. The evening entertainment changes each night with good entertainment. The bar tender to the pool at Block 14 Nikalaus, was awesome and looked after all his customers and regularly checked if we needed fill-ups wherever we sat around the pool. Our first day was a bit of a disaster, in our room the safe was not setup. We found out the toilet door is a shower door, so when ever someone goes to the bathroom we see all, we had to drape a towel over the door for some privacy. The toilet continued to flush 24hrs a day, so if we wanted quiet at night I had to turn the tap off to the water fill. The bed is comfortable but only 2 pillows. At the buffet meal I sampled a seafood stew, nearly cut my mouth on the broken shells. But this was the first day the rest of the week the meals where very well cooked. Beware, there are a lot of guys trying to sell a vacation time share and say its only 15 mins we had them pushing us each day....a couple we met told us it was more like 4 hours. The hotel has the rooms setup in blocks about 80% of the rooms are facing each other in the block in the block across from your room. The rooms in blocks facing each other loose the sun around 3:30 pm depending on which side your on.

    Great experience at BeLive Hotels Adults only. I was spending 10 days holiday and was looking for relax. Please note the following comment is 100% constructive. I will only mention things I noticed need improving. The rest was great. Things to improve: -Ray of light goes through room door at night. It’s frustrating if you like sleeping in complete dark. - When I booked room, I asked several times to get one with sea views. When I checked in at reception, I asked again and girl told me It had a view. Made it to the room and no sea view. It’s really important to manage customer expectations. - WiFi is really bad. Not sure if this is always like this, but definitely not the best. - Instead of Water from a tank in the bar, the hotel should also offer *glass or similar bottles so that people can take to hammock. - Excessive use of plastic cups. Every time you ask for a new drink, they will put you a clean plastic cup. Should be a bit more concerned about climate change and plastic waste. - Marketplace restaurant is great, but service is a bit un-organised. Should be faster serving water & drinks. Maybe some veggie options? -You get a casino coupon of 20$ when doing check in. Again, manage expectations. Got to the casino, and the tell you, you also need to play another 20$. I played roulette, won and apparently you only get it changed. You don’t get it doubled (sounded weird). - Juice was not ready at 07:30 in the morning during several days. Would recommend having it ready. I’m Others: -Offer charging service or some power bank options for people at the beach. -Shaving package is good, but foam is definitely not enough if someone really wants to shave... (not sure how to improve this). - Lift half way through block one needs checking. Don’t feel really safe when using it. -Recommended not to do drilling, or construction during nap time. It is annoying to be trying to have a nap and listen to constructions. From 15-17 at least. -Missing some rubbish bins in the hotel. Shout to the following for making it a great experience: Candy (Enterteinment) - great Stretching sessions & Elvin (Towels beach) - great service with food and drinks at beach & Julio (Concierge) - great explanation & Julianna (Spa) - Highly recommended massage.

    This Resort is located on the beach just before Bavaro. The resort is very good probably one of the best that I stayed. I book this resort because I found the price very good and I got a discount with my work. The downsides that I found is that the check in was lengthy and there was no line ups and also some peole that can be anoying be selling you excursions souvenirs on the beachs or time share holidays. The staff at the buffet was fine some of them were welcoming. The entertaiment was also good with different themes each night. The staff at bars were also good even one of them was trying to give us one drink after the other. There's many pools spread all over the resort and some of them were more quiet than the main one. There's also a few a la carte restaurants. Overall this resort is great for all. There's a kids club, a casino and night club. I would probably return to this resort if I have a chance.

    My wife decided to take me to this resort in Punta Cana since her previous experiences have been good. At the same time, we had the opportunity to spend holidays in other structures of the same franchise in the past and we have been always satisfied. This time - regrettably - we had a bad experience. During the check-in, we have been assigned an orange plastic bracelet. We discovered at the end of our holiday that the guy at lobby did an unacceptable mistake by giving us a bracelet which was not the correct one, not compliant with the package we bought (3 days - 2 night stay). Since the beginning we experienced some limitations in the treatment. We tried to book one "a la carte restaurant" for the same day or the following day and we have been rebounded in a quite rude way at the reservation desk by saying "no availability". We have been able to obtain our dinners just because of a friend in the staff, who pro-actively helped us "secretly". Other guests who checked in the same day or the following day have been able to obtain the reservation directly at the desk. Needless to say, the restaurants were half empty when we had dinner, so the "no availability" was just an excuse due to the fact that they gave us a wrong bracelet. Moreover, bartenders refused to serve us alcholic drinks the last day after 1pm. We complained to the receptionists about this treatment during check out and we asked the reason why. No answer. Nobody was able to explain. We asked to deal with a manager (who was not available) and we reported the issue to a deputy. She was incredibly abashed and frankly told us that she had never seen that kind of bracelet before. After executing some internal calls, she understood the matter and explained to us the issue of the wrong bracelet which was theoretically reserved for a particular group booked for a one-day stay only, with limitations. Incredible bad management, poor team training, unacceptable organizational model. The management didn't accomodate anything, just asked us to fill a form to complain about the matter. I hoped this would be effective for any kind of compensation but I was wrong. Almost 3 weeks have passed and there’s no answer to our complaint, neither via email. In general, the hotel is not bad, beach is nice despite it is almost impossible to enjoy the sea due to a massive presence of seaweeds, staff is friendly, entertainers are funny, food is quite good. Unfortunately, the room we have been assigned was also not good at all, a lot of humidity inside and poor acoustic comfort. Summarizing, despite the structure is enjoyable, the service received for what we paid was unacceptable. I'm not in a position to recommend this hotel, due to the lack of professionality, customer care, poor team training and due to the total indifference towards an understandable client complaint I would recommend a step back from management and an urgent review of hotel's policies, procedures and staff training.
