Ok SO you book an all inclusive for a good deal not an amazing time at this resort. I know there are nicer resorts that are all inclusive that probably don't fit this profile but Dreams does. It is FINE.... just FINE. The food is edible it won't knock your socks off, the drinks are NOT good but they do the trick, the service is good..... I will say it is clean and the people are very friendly. If you want good food it's $50.00 USD for a taxi ($25.00 each way) to the hotel zone and the food there is amazing but expect NYC prices. Also you can take a taxi to in town Tulum for $40.00 ($20.00 each way) and then food is more authentic and WAY cheaper. Also the drinks are SO MUCH better at both locations. After this experience I will not book an all inclusive again when we are not taking our kids with us. I would rather spend the money per meal then get the average experience.

Stay far away from the front lobby. They don’t want to help you all they want to do is sell you a tour and take your time and promise $300 bucks. As we know it’s all inclusive especially the drinks but all I repeat all the bars are understaffed Most times waiting 8 to 15 minutes for a drink Always out of towels but the massive 2 pools Swim up bar had no one to serve drinks. Had to get out of pool to get a drink. Be aware of this place

My first time in Tulum was amazing and safe. The minute we arrived at the resort we where greeted very friendly, received a welcome drinks... At front desk check in was a Rodrigo which was very polite and pleasant. He made our check in very smooth and quick. Rodrigo was able to answer all question, very helpful. I recommend food, entertainment and all activities, over all resort and staff was very good. Thank you Guadalupe at the bar and Fernando room service for excellent service. Viva Mexico will be back

I called ahead to confirm the last minute reservation booked through Southwest Vacations. The lady that took the call was both patient and efficient and answered all of my questions providing helpful information. I arrived with the hubby and was assisted by the exceptional front desk staff by Rodrigo who went above and beyond to help my husband and I have a dreamy vacation. He was amazingly patient as I upgraded and then downgraded rooms and saved us the headache of multiple moves due to my fickleness. The only problem with checking in early is that due to covid, rooms aren't actually ready until 4:30pm. I love the fact that they take the extra step to sanitize the rooms. They are super serious about it. The food is amazing, fresh and delicious. It is varied. We have eaten gourmet Mexican, delicious seafood at the grill, awesome Italian, and great breakfast buffet food. They have fresh made to oder smoothies in the morning and I have, thus far, enjoyed every meal. I haven't had a burger and fries yet. The staff at the restaurants are awesome. The beach chair crew on the unreserved side of the beach are fantastic. Horacio at the gym is fastidious and personable and a tennis coach to boot. The bed is super comfy, sheets and coverlet are great, the pillows are fine. Hot water arrives effortlessly upon demand. Great housekeeping crew. I am on day three of the first vacation of 2020 due to covid. This property is gorgeous, the landscaping is breathtaking, and it's being updated and renovated. It's an older property with lots of space to social distance. I believe it's safer to vacation here than in the USA because the staff cares to properly wear masks. I highly recommend this property and thank all of the staff for all of the hard work and effort that they put into their jobs every day. You all are all awesome! Thank you!

I highly recommend this hotel. It was the closest all inclusive resort to Tulum beaches, with all the amenities for a worry free girls-only trip. Pictures and amenities are as presented in photos, and the hotel keeps the buildings and natural spaces impeccable. Our trip was made so much nicer thanks to the amazing hotel crew. Tenders, receptionists, entertainers, waiters really bend backwards to make your stay pleasant and accommodate you in every possible way. Any possible draw back goes overlooked thanks to the warmth and care offered by the hotel employees. We are specially thankful and hope to see again: Capitan Filiberto, Receptionist Rodrigo, Victor, the guys at the pool bar, the guys and girls tending the beach bars, the photographers (Mario and Adar), the waiters at the French and Italian restaurants. Seriously, everyone there is so nice!! 5 start ?????????? to them all!! The food is really amazing! We dined at a different restaurant every night. The French, Italian and Mexican are very delicious restaurants, all dishes we had were awesome! We also drank, nonstop, amazing cocktails!! Nights shows are really good too. They have an unbelievable fire performers group, and small bands playing by the pool bar. Other dancers groups were also cool. I think the hotel has some room for improvement with respect to Covid protocols though. Unfortunately, the general situation is that hotels and restaurants are working with a reduced staff and have to spend so much to implement the new reality. We get that. However, the hotel should then make some trade offs in order to keep people safe. For example, you have less waiters? then open up all the spaces including more tables outside. You can’t offer menu choices for breakfast and lunch, only buffet? Then make masks MANDATORY for guest too!!! not optional, MANDATORY!!! again M A N D A T O R Y!! you know there are many tourists who think covid is a scam or they simply don’t give a BS about getting or transmitting covid. If you a buffet only option, well people are going to line up and pared in front of the open-air food. Guess who’s getting covid? yes, everyone who eats there!! So, you can’t bring food to everyone to the table? then cover all buffet food with individual plastic wraps at the kitchen before placing them in the buffets and install see-through shields for grill, omelette and warm-plate stations. These are simple and affordable steps that hotels have to take to protect people and keep their business going. So my rating to the covid hotel protocols is ????. We complained about this and they made some special accommodations for us. We know everyone is learning in this journey and we can tell the hotel is doing a huge effort to improve too. I still highly recommend this beautiful hotel and hope to be back pretty soon!!
