Really enjoyed our stay in Mexico. The food is fantastic and the entertainment team at arrifices pool work tirelessly to make sure everyone is having fun through the day and make the activities really fun and include a variety of activities to meet everyones needs. Luis, Benjamin and Jesus from the entertainment team especially were brilliant and made us feel welcome and put on some really fun and engaging activities for us.

The resort is beautiful, the food is amazing and the staff stop at nothing to make your experience the best! The staff work none stop and ensure that every minor detail is perfection. My favourite staff were definitely the entertainment, Luis, Jesus, Benjamin, Maria and Geraldine. They truly love their jobs and make all the guests feel welcome. We will miss you xx

Spent 1 week in an ocean front king room on the Palms side the last week of March. The room was a little dated but immaculately cleaned every day by midafternoon. They do offer nightly turn down service and they switch out the dirty towels for clean ones. Lots of drawers and hangers to get organized. They do have two suitcase benches in the room, ironing board and iron, and soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion in the bathroom. Fridge was stocked daily with beer, pop and chips. The true gems of the resort are the staff and grounds. At first the resort felt a little discombobulated but very easy to get around, do explore. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and well cared for. I don't think I have seen harder working groundkeepers in all my travels. The paths and walkways are clearly marked, free of debris and well-lit in the evenings. The flora and fauna are lush and beautiful day and night. There are golf carts to take you between the 3 main buildings but if you are able to, enjoy the walk. Not even a 10-minute walk between each building. The beach is nice, if you don't compare it to Cuban beaches. Soft white sand upon entering but very shallow and some coral near the wave breakers. If you have it, bring your snorkel gear. Plenty of sea life to see and no big waves due to the wave breakers. We did not really encounter any sargassum during our visit, but I say this because the staff work so hard to keep the beach and waters clean and free of anything floating. Amazing hard workers, they were in the water with laundry type baskets skimming the water. We didn't really experience the towel game but did reserve our loungers around 8:30am every morning as we headed to breakfast. Even by 10am lots of bali beds and loungers still available. The beach service was a little hit and miss but hard to complain as they do hustle and are so friendly. Lots of clean towels can be found anywhere by the beach and pools. The beach on the palm side is very quiet, no music and we only experienced entertainment staff on 2 days, which was perfect for us. There is someone going around selling cigars, jewerly, etc. but a no thank you was all that was required for them to move along. The massage staff needed a firmer no thank you, but they were always friendly. If you are into walking, the beach is very walkable, past the other resorts to the point. All staff were so friendly, didn't matter who they were or what they were doing, everyone stopped to say hi with a smile and seemed genuine to see you. I have no complaints and my only comment is thank you! We tried all the eateries except the Culinarium and the Seaside Market Buffet. We had reservations at two restaurants and never had a problem or long wait for the other restaurants. If you did have to wait, they gave you a buzzer and there was also a bar nearby. The food and staff were excellent. Be sure to try the "authentic" Mexican food carts outside the buffet areas. Excellent tasty dishes! Food service could have been a bit faster, but they keep the drinks and smiles coming. My only suggestion would be during busy times, have someone walk around with a tray of shots or appetizers for both the seated guests waiting to be seated. We had a fabulous vacation and would definitely return, maybe Fall 2024. Thank you to everyone at the El Dorado Palms for such a wonderful week.

Hola! I am a travel advisor and I stayed at El Dorado for two purposes 1) to spend quality time with my adult daughter and 2) to review it for my clients. I really enjoyed most of my stay. If you are looking for a party place this is not for you. El Dorado Seaside Palms is very laid back and perfect for a couples get away. The place was gorgeous and lived up to its name of seaside "palms". Beautiful palms were everywhere. The landscaping was well maintained and you could see the craftsmanship with the special little surprises as you walked about. The room was a little dated but spacious and very clean. The balcony was spacious and I loved the wooden lounge chairs. Our room had a huge hottub which was nice! Each day the room was cleaned and restocked with fresh towels!! The resort was spacious and the layout was interesting. But you could get a ride to your destination on a buggy at any time. It was a bit dark on the walkways at night but we were not afraid. Just two cautious women. The pools were a bit small, but they had wonderful cabanas and we were always able to snag one for a few hours. There are minimal activities so the pool is good for reading or swimming. The BEACH IS AMAZING!!! White sands and blue/green clear water. Ample lounge chairs and more cabanas. They maintain it constantly! While there we had the spa experience which I recommend. The massage on the beach was good. I could have been great except for the "cigar" man who was louding hawking his product. My one and only real complaint is the food. We could not get a really good meal at any restuarant. The food at the Italian speciality resturant was espeically horrible. I was served burnt eggplant and when I sent it back the chef AND the waiter seemed annoyed. That was disappointing. If El Dorado could get the food right (seasoned, some auhentic choices, cooked appropriately) then this would be one of the first places I'd recommend to my clients who are couples and I would come back! Lastly, the staff was amazing, polite, helpful and complimentary...they always greeted you with a smile when walked by. A very relaxing vacation. Overall, a good stay.

We got married at El Dorado Seaside Palms April 5, 2024 and had the most amazing trip of a lifetime. Almost 70 of our closest friends and family traveled with this, and all had an amazing experience. Special shout out to Adriana Puga for the serene yoga she puts on at the pier every morning. Puga is a bright smiling ray of sunshine and the resort is very lucky to have her. Starting our day out with her beautiful yoga practice was one of the best parts of our trip! Andrea with the wedding department is so incredibly good at her job. I was blown away by her attention to detail, anticipation of our needs, and overall just above and beyond service. The property is maintained so well by hundreds of employees who work tirelessly day and night to keep the grounds in good condition. Everyone we met was so kind and always greeted us with a smile and an hola! This is our second time visiting el dorado palms — to our surprise, the food was even better this visit!! Hands down Klay Talay the Asian restaurant is our favorite. Pad Thai. Sushi. Coconut crème brûlée - All amazing. We also loved the shrimp tacos at the Mexican restaurant. And all of the grill food at Bar Fronterra was so delicious- ribs, chicken skewers, beef tacos all fresh off the grill daily with heaping amounts of fresh guac and pico. There are endless Bali beds. We never had issue finding a bed at any time of day to lounge in. The Spa is a must do. Beachfront sky massage. Water journey. Pricing is negotiable! Not looking to spend any extra money at the spa? Opt for just sitting in their sauna - the entire facility is so clean and lux feeling. We stayed in the premium swim up suite and loved it! But there’s not a bad room at this resort in my opinion. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
