    We had a wonderful time and the staff was great. Israel(Cafe del Mar) made us feel really special. Luis(Bocelli) gave us an amazing show making mayan coffee! Israel,Ricardo,Marysol,Carlos,Chef Marco and Chef pastry Tonis were wonderful. Isabel made my birthday so special with the cake and champagne. Thank you all for helping with some wonderful memories!

    Wonderful 7 day vacation

    Just returned from an incredible vacation at Playacar Palace. This is our third time visiting this resort and we have never been disappointed. From the moment we arrived at this all inclusive resort we were pampered. A welcome drink and a cool towel at the reception desk we were welcomed by our vacation planner Abigail. This was our second time with Abigail as our vacation planner. She asked that we settle into the resort and return to her at some point that evening. Our room was a perfect ocean front suite overlooking the pool. The bed was amazingly comfortable. All the soaps and bathroom amenities were perfect. After meeting with Abigail we were set up with Vivian to finish planning all of our excursions, special diners and spa time. She worked extra hard to make sure everything was scheduled so we could have a relaxing vacation. We can never say enough about the service at Palace Resorts. Everyone on their staff is ready and waiting to serve you. The food is some of the best we have ever had. They are always willing to make something special and work around any food allergies. We had a chef's dinner planned but found out with the food allergies in our party we would not be able to participate in the usual chef's dinner. We were contacted Isabel from the resort's public relations department. She set up a dinner for us in Bocelli that was prepared by Chef Marco. Our waiters in Bocelli, Ricardo, Luis and Israel were great to attend all of our needs. The Hostess Marysol and Manager Paola were friendly and welcoming as well. We ate at Bocelli twice more and the somelier Carlos paired great wine with our porterhouse steaks. We spent a ton of time by the pool and at the swim up bar. When we were here 2.5 years ago a sweet pool waitress named Josefina was there and attended our every need with a smile. We were pleased to find her still at the pool taking care of us. Juan the bar tender at the swim up bar mixed great drinks and always made us laugh. The spa at Playacar is great too. We were always greeted by welcoming attendants. The amenities and massages are some of the best ever. The Asian Restaurant and Cafe Del Mar were also great. The bar tender at the lobby bar was friendly, funny and attentive. On the day we left we pre-ordered room service breakfast. It was delivered by Margaro on time and warm. Chef Julissa prepared everything beyond our expectation. I do not know what else to say about this wonderful 7 day trip except we wish it could have been longer.

    Most high end all inclusive resorts are same in amenities . What distinguishes each is the quality of service. We have been members with Palace Resorts for over 10 years and we come to Mexico twice a year. We just checked out of Playacar Palace after a week. What stood out in our experience this time was the slowness in how housekeeping responded to our requests e.g. another luggage rack, toiletries not available after room clean(2x) , no return for turn down service and did not clear dirty dishes. However, we want to commend 2 people who made our stay pleasant and enjoyable: Abigail Cinta, Guest Relations and Alan Nava, reception/Check in.

    This is the typical buffet restaurant of an all inclusive, but there are certain standouts that I must acknowledge. First, it’s about the people. Dinner shift service by Artemio, Olivia Lopez, and managed by Olivia Gomez, were personal, top notch, and sincere. It just felt like their goal was to understand how you were feeling and then do their best make sure everything was all right. I had specific dining requests that necessitated above-and beyond typical buffet fare and they accommodated without a blink. I hope the hotel management recognizes the gems they have on their staff and do something nice to recognize their efforts. Thank you!

    Great welcome, coktail hot towel on arrival and ready to start a very relaxing vacation. Service was outstanding, Cafe del Mar was outstanding in food selection and service 10/10. service from Israel was especially brilliant. Entertainment at night was great, games during the day at the beach was fantastic. the rooms were clean, great beds and linen., We loved it.
