The hotel looked a little run down and kind of shady looking with homeless people in and out of cars they slept in or yelling at each other. Hotel Circle Place was trashy looking. I know with Covid that they were not offering buffet breakfast but their to go breakfast was 2 bottles of water and 2 packages of granola bars. They could of put in pre-package pastry’s, donuts, string cheese, etc. No housekeeping which was fine but had to call down for clean towels after the housekeeper took my dirty towels. Elevator smelt like urine and the flirt was dirty every time we used it. Forth floor rooms did not have full curtains, just curtains at the end and sheer curtains in the middle so daylight woke us up super early. The Last night we were there I called down for coffee packets and new cups, after an hour I called down again and they finally brought them up. You are already paying for the room and then they charge you for a parking spot. I wouldn’t trust my car out in the street in that neighborhood.

Good room for a decent price

My room was clean and comfortable, the grab and go breakfast was only a bottle of water, the refrigerator did not work and I had to get ice for our drinks. Our television was not working and the service desk did not answer the phone. I had to go to the lobby for assistance. The did send a maintenance man right away to fix the television. But hey the weekend rate with 2 tickets for the zoo was only around $430.00 Not bad.

I check in and find out even though I am a platinum member I have to pay 15 dollars a day for parking. 2 rooms 3 days. 90 bucks ouch. I go to my rooms 302 and 307 the entire floor smells like marijuana. There are cigarette butts and joints outside my room next to 302. I called thursday. When I left Sunday they were still there. Disgusting. No social distance program for the pool. Breakfast was a bottle water and a granola bar. When I called to complain about the marijuana smell and cigarettes butts the desk said we will send someone up to spray. No one came. The hotel has alot of homeless people sleeping in their cars so you cant go for a walk without being harassed. When you spend $1000 you deserve better. Will never stay here again.

We enjoyed staying here many times in the past with our family since it’s close to the zoo, sea world , freeways and shopping. Returned in oct 2020 from our last stay April 2019 and it turned for the worst . LOTS of transients , broken down cars , trash and marijuana smoke everywhere. There are no towels available at the pool and guest services are VERY slow. Staircases smell like urine and transients Consistently roaming the parking lot. Parking stalls are small and tight. Wouldn’t recommend a large or oversized vehicles. At $15 a night for parking , you would expect better parking. Interior hallways are dirty and the trash cans near elevators are always full. Felt very unsafe especially at night. Hardly any lightening and no security guard or any sense of security due to the blight in the area. **** due to covid - their version of pack and go breakfast is 1 bottle of water and 2 nature valley granola bars per person *****

We stayed in room 314 which was an ok room but the refrigerator did not work and we asked 3 times to have it serviced as we had little kids and would like to have their juice and other snacks in the refrigerator. No one ever came to repair it. We were told rooms are not serviced everyday and we were ok with that but would have like clean towels etc.
