Not impressed with our room. Bathroom needed remodeling, the resort fees and parking fees are high. I would recommend staying in the newer rooms facing bay. I believe the room rate was a little too high for what I got

Our stay at the Dana went well until we received our final invoice. I asked our presumed total once on the phone when I booked the reservation, and again at the front desk during out stay, and was told very similar totals. When we left, we were charged $200 more than quoted! First I was told it was "Fees" and then was told the additional charge was taxes, despite the fact that I had asked for my total including the taxes previously. We had a great stay the previous year and did not encounter this problem.

Located just along the bay, this resort is relaxing and has quite a few great amenities. We really enjoyed cycling, jacuzzi, pool. Food in their restaurant was average. One downside of this resort - their old building, it needs renovation. Rooms looks dated just new sheets won’t make rooms look new!

    Beware of the PARKING "Gotcha"

They charge a $33 per night resort fee but do not tell you what it includes. The surprise is it does not include a separate $25 per night parking fee. You will not find anything about the $25 per night parking charge on their website. The front desk personnel will not mention anything about the $25 parking fee when you check-in nor will they when you check-out but it will be on the bill and this is the first time you will find out about it. They are experts on hidden charges. Oh! They'll promise to do a better job next time. A worthless platitude!

    Why a Resort Fee charge

Overall stay was nice, but due to Covid 19 most amenities were closed, which I understand. However, I don't think there should be a $32 resort fee charge for those items given the gym was closed, the jacuzzi and pool area were limited.
