    Hotel was beautiful nice rooms very clean hotel. We had to switch rooms because there had obviously been pets in our room previous to our stay. I did request a non pet room and a mini fridge for my medication. There was no fridge when arrived. When I got there after settling in my throat started to close couldn’t breath. I was having an allergy attack. The hotel had lied said there were no pets in my room. Ems came and had to help me. We changed rooms I was ok. Had to see my doctor today. Went down for our anniversary and the game. We ended up missing the game. Valet was amazing!

    Customer service is Exceptional here!

    I have always wanted to try out the Fairmont brand (particularly the Royal York and the Ottawa location) and I decided to stay at the Royal York location for my husband's staycation birthday gift (Bed and Breakfast package). Note: I am a Hilton Honours and Marriot International member, and I specifically stay in these two locations because of the exclusive upgrades and offers I receive. I can honestly say hands down that I have never been treated so beautifully at any hotel by the customer service staff the way I was treated at the Royal York. Customer service was TOP NOTCH everywhere!! Whether you are checking in (got complimentary upgrades to the room, free wifi, etc.), receiving birthday cake surprise with sparkling wine (I switched it to sparkling water because I don't drink), complimentary Eska brand water bottles for all 4 of us, to the checkout procedure, they were all so kind and thoughtful and soft-spoken. You would think these are basic expectations from any hotel customer service staff, but no! I've got poorly treated at Hilton, Melia and other brands, which just really sours the experience and the stay. The food at the breakfast buffet was so unique, and the taste was like organic, fluffly, melt in your mouth (whether it be the omelette, honey, muesli, yogurt, crepes), it was just soo tasty. The only thing I would complain about was that the washroom was tiny, and the heating at the nighttime was turning on and off, just waking me up from extreme heat to then feeling cold. But, the customer service that I kept receiving from the staff really upped the pleasant experience, and I value that the most. I can honestly say that for future hotel experiences, I will be focusing on the ALL Accor hotels, specifically the Fairmont brand. For the cost-effective price I paid and the treatment I received, it was an unforgettable experience. My husband was so happy with his gift! Thank you Royal York staff!

    Nice hotel near airport express

    Nice traditional hotel in the modern heart of Toronto. Just few steps from the airport express. The rooms are clean and spacious. There is also a pool in the hotel. The staff is incredibly nice. The breakfast is perfect.

    I recently visited the Fairmont Royal York in Feb. It was a fantastic stay; the room was great, excellent view and the service were awesome. Staffs are friendly and easy to find and approachable. I would strongly recommend this hotel. I enjoyed the historical feel of the hotel. The bar was also lively, but it closed too early on a Saturday night.

    I stayed here with my family before a trip in January. The hotel was gorgeous and the service was top quality. We went down for a reception in the restaurant and we got the best service I've ever recieved from the kindest server, I believe his name was Nelson. He was so kind and accommodating and it was like he could read our minds, he anticipated every need and kept everyone at our table entertained. He was like the cherry on top of a wonderful hotel stay!
