    Nice looking hotel but not clean

    The bathroom was dirty including a hand towel with a brown sticky substance on it. It makes me nervous about what else they didn't clean before my stay. Everything else was good, the room service was prompt and the food was good, the staff were polite and friendly. But the bathroom really ruined the whole experience for me. If they neglected to clean the bathroom, where else did they neglect? Were my sheets even changed between customers? Who knows. They certainly didn't change all the towels, it seems reasonable to assume they could have just made the bed and called it a day without putting on fresh linens. I will not stay here again.

    I stayed for business for 2 nights and was worst stay I've ever had at a hotel. Would not recommend this place. Right when I got out of the car the doormen tried to give me options on parking where they would make some extra money. I told them just to park the car as the business is paying for it . Check out was a nightmare.

    The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver has an incredible, walkable location & Notch8 meets all your needs to an extensive cocktail list; family-friendly menu; jazz Thursdays through Saturdays & if you're ever in need of something 'off menu' the chefs will accommodate you. The concierge staff & charming canine ambassadors are bar none a step above the rest & if you can splurge to stay on the Gold Floor: the Gold Team of Darren; Gayle; Melanie & Wilson will make your stay is so pleasurable by not only anticipating your needs but will go out of their way by helping care for a sick kiddo to making recommendations on what 'you have to experience while in Vancouver' you actually wish you could take them with you to make the rest of your life so pleasurable & easy.

    Terrific Airport Hotel

    Most of the airport hotels I drop into on my travels have a tendency to be below par and worn in. Not The Fairmont Hotel. This place is very cool. The hotel sits in the airport. As soon as you arrive you get an immediate feel of quality. The staff are excellent and the check in went through quickly. The bar was busy and bustling when I got there at 9pm. The Spa closes at 9, but the pool and Gym are avaliable till at least 11 as I used them then. My room was a Signature Studio King and it was awesome. A huge room with a seperate bathroom that opened onto the bedroom. There was a sofa, writing desk and huge TV. Highly recommend. I ate in room for Dinner and breakfast and the food was excellent. I’d really recommend this hotel.

    Great family get together even though my mother had a fall in downtown Vancouver. The hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate my mom and her broken foot. They provided her with everything she needed in the room to rest and a wheel chair to get to the restaurant and around the hotel. Such great service.
