So many negative reviews…. Are you sure these were even at the hotel? We had a fantastic time, a two week stay. If you read the negatives, just remember it’s what you make it, and we absolutely loved this hotel. It’s not pretentious, and I’d recommend to anyone. The young men on the reception desk are just lovely.

The hotel is pretty good. Room was lovely. Shower, although dated was fine. There is a fridge and coffee machine, kettle, ironing board and iron and condiments for kettle. Food on dining room was good. Reception staff were excellent, Josef in particular going above and beyond. However the cleaning staff left a little to be desired and need some organising! As do the dining room and bar staff. Overall I would only rate this as 3 star hotel.

Just returned back from Barbados we stayed at the Accra beach resort after reading reviews and I wish I took them onboard. What a nightmare we got checked in and the room was not functional at all the bathroom toilet did not work despite maintenance coming then the shutter came off and the door to the balcony did not open or close. We had the sales and marketing manager come up who was just saying this is ok. Finally got moved to another room at midnight the door key did not work as the battery for the door had gone and had to wait for maintenance in the morning nightmare. Just a joke not a 4 star at all. In a positive most staff were friendly this hotel for not do justice to the great people of Barbados so friendly when you leave the hotel. DONT BOOK HERE !

I’ve been coming here on business several times. Justin one of the reception staff has been lovely. He’s professional calm efficient. Always pleasant and smiling. It’s always a pleasure to see him. Pretty much most of the staff around the hotel is very friendly. The hotel location is great. Beach is beautiful.

Read the reviews and they are mostly accurate; In summary, yes the hotel is dated and feels like a 3 star in the US; Yes, the service is not very good, though the folks at the front desk are very nice; and yes, the breakfast is fairly bad, and the service there is atrocious. However, the location is incredible, with the beach being a few steps from the hotel. As for the beach, it is amongst, if not the best beach that I have seen. Beautiful white sand and blue water. The beach alone makes this a hotel where I will probably stay again. Just use the hotel as a place to sleep. Every morning, we walked across the street and ate a solid breakfast and often would eat dinner there as well--there are a number of local restaurants that are decent in the small outside mall across the street. Other than sleeping, we spent next to no time at the hotel, which is perfect. The room was clean and the A/C was great; Other than that, it was very basic, though WIFI is good throughout the hotel. The pool seemed very nice, but we were at the beach the entire trip. Lower your expectations for the hotel, avoid the restaurant and enjoy a wonderful beach.
