Recommend by a travel agent and was everything she said it was. Recently renovated ( some works still on going but not disruptive in any way), We had a pool view room with two double beds Which were very comfortable. Ideal location just a stroll across a small road to Dover beach and the gap where all the bars are is about 5 minute walk. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful .... big shout out to Celeste and all other staff in bar/ restaurant, Celeste is so helpful and friendly and always went out of her way to speak to us. Continental style breakfast included which we enjoyed, new breakfast room completed during our stay and is functional and clean however using the doors with hands full is a little problematic and may need rethinking. We would definitely return to the hotel as couldn’t fault it.

upgraded to have a balcony but was over the road and quite noisey with the roosters making a lot of noise but we did love it here and the bar attached what used to be the sporting Pig but now called Amigos. had breakfast which wasn't fantastic so I would order scrambled egg on toast which was a couple of dollars. we are back at this hotel February 2020 the bar is very cheap and did have happy hours. Entertainment in bar some nights if not theres plenty going on in the Gap we did go here march 2018

We never stayed at the hotel but went to Amigos bar every day for a drink which was the cheapest in the Gap. There was always sport on the televisions to watch and the staff were always friendly. We got to know Glen a local taxi driver who took us on a great island tour for a reasonable price and he never stopped updating us about locations and histories throughout the 5 hours trip. Worth a visit

We didn't stay at the hotel - but there seems to be no separate listing for the restaurant, Amigos. We stopped here in August, out of season. The entire area was very quiet, and we were the only ones in the restaurant. The staff were very polite and welcoming. The food arrived very quickly (but then you'd expect it to as we were the only ones there). It was reasonably priced, and good quality. Pizzas were thin crust, the way we like them, and my son loved his chicken nuggets.
