I had a great time at grand palladium costa mujeres. The best bartenders were sergio, diego, donaciano, moises, julion. Also the entertainment was very fun, thomas , ricky, elie and were the best! Lucky at the lobby bar was amazing! She went above and beyond for our drink request. And finally Israel is the best chef ! He made a special chicken for my fiancé and I , and I cannot wait to add this chicken to our wedding menu. I highly recommend this resort and any couples who are looking to have a wedding here , book it ! Right now. U won’t regret it !

Absolutely spectacular service, great drinks and these two remember their regulars & their drinks and make you feel right at home! They treat you like family, make your classic drinks, new drinks that you’ve never tried before. Highly recommend looking for Morin or Marleen as your bartender!

This gorgeous property is off the beaten path (30 min north of Cancun) and if you are looking for a quiet place, this is definitely the place to stay at. So, make sure when booking excursions, to make sure they can pick you up and drop you off at the property. we read that a taxi can be quite costly to get to a pre-arranged pick-up spot. We booked a package through Costco that took care of airport transportation which went flawless. The transport was via the reliable BD Experience and they had a counter at the hotel as well if you wanted to book excursions. The beach, the rooms, the design of the property and the inside of the restaurants are very, very nice. Probably one of the nicest places that we have stayed at. We stayed in a Junior Suite and were upgraded to an ocean view (building 11). The room is very comfortable with all the needed amenities. The property gets a 5/5 rating, The food options left a lot to be desired and were a hit or miss. Yet we didn't hear of any other all-inclusive places that were much better from veteran all-inclusive travelers, whom we met during our stay. The Japanese restaurant (Sumptuori) was a win, we tried both the a la carte and the hibachi. The Poseidon lunch buffet was also a win (Tip, Poseidon has an upstairs sit down restaurant for lunch with the most amazing ocean view, you must make reservations for this). The breakfast buffet was plentiful, and you could always find something that would like. The other restaurants were iffy. Some items were Okay, and some items were just plain gross. We were there for 8 days, so we were able to try everything that was open. One day the El Dorado steak house was really bad, two days later it was excellent. So, a lot depends on the cook of the day, we think. The Mexican restaurant (La Adelita) was just OK – you find much better Mexican food in the States. Portofino, the Italian, was our least favorite. Stay away from the food at Xtra Time (Sports Bar). We give the food a 3/5 rating. The friendly staff was remarkable. Please, please tip these hard-working people. We saw so many people not tipping. Even a buck isn't going to break you for every time you ride the golf cart or get a drink from the bar. The oversized golf carts were so convenient and made travelling around the property during the hottest parts of the day a breeze. We wanted especially thank our concierge, Ronie, whom made our stay flawless. She booked all restaurant reservations, covid test, answered all our questions, plus she called us every day and made sure a golf cart was waiting for us to pick us up for dinner from the room. Also Martin, the waiter at the breakfast buffet and at Poseidon, was excellent – he made sure that we were taken care of even when we were not sitting at his table. Every single employee greets you, gardeners, cart drivers, housekeeping, wait staff….everybody smiles and says “Buenos Dias/Noches, Hola” The staff gets a 5/5 rating. Lots of pools to choose from, the beach was clean and not crowded at all (Yes there is wait staff and a bar at the beach). Each pool also has a bar with a great selection. We did not feel it would be worth it to upgrade to TRS. They do an excellent job of keeping the insects down, but just you know, that involves some heavy fogging early in the morning. As mentioned before, while we were there, we met a lot of people who do all-inclusive Mexico resorts and they all agree that this one is better than most, though the food is a hit or miss. A few complaints: the water in the shower smells terrible. We read a lot of complaints about Mexican resorts having that smell, because of the drains apparently – it smelled kind of like sulfur. Of course, this depends on how sensitive to smells you are. The pool waters are also a little on the too warm side for us. Calling for drinks to be sent to your room apparently doesn't work. That communication channel is broken. They say they will, but it never happens. We needed extra water to brush our teeth. Though we never used the room service, since we are not a fan of paying another $10 delivery fee for an all-inclusive resort, we heard it's terrible and takes forever (since the food comes from the Sports Bar apparently). Be aware that none of the food places will let you take food away with you. We wanted to take some food back to the room but couldn’t. The Zentropia Spa was excellent, the nicest one that we have ever been to. We loved the amenities and if you can get a package that included daily spa use, that would be great. (5/5 rating) Yes, everything required reservations, but that really didn't really bother us. We had to change it a few times, and it was never an issue. It's eventually up to you to follow up and through with things. Make sures: Make sure to make the reservation for your Covid test or go to the concierge desk to do so. Don’t forget to up the results because you need those at the airport. Make sure to book reservations if you want to eat in a restaurant, book these as early as you can in advance since due to Covid, it is a require by the government to make these. Make sure to visit Piacere, the coffee place. Delicious coffees and deserts. Make sure to bring lots of sunscreen because it is outrageously priced at all resorts. Make sure to bring inflatables for the pool, so you can relax more (yes, the wait staff at the pool will bring your favorite libations while you float around). Make sure to take care of the staff, as they were all amazing. Make sure to have a good time as this was probably our most relaxing trip ever. Lastly, we wanted to recommend My Quest Concierge Private Tours. We booked our private Chichen Itza tour with them and our driver/guide Manuel was the BEST! This was truly the best excursion experience ever. We probably forgot a bunch of things but in the end we will definitely come back to GP Costa Mujeres. Overall, we rate this place a 4.4/5. The Staff are the ones who make want to come back.

This property is definitely off the beaten path and you should really try to book a package that will take care of your airport transportation and also research your excursions well to make sure they can pick you up and drop you off at the property.
