    Another great stay at the Binni

    I have visited the Binni about 9 times & it has never disappointed me. Although many employees have changed through the years I was happy to see Sylvia, Julien, Freddie, Alejandra, the same managers & others still there doing their best to make my holiday the best. Thank you to all of you! Thanks also to Flor for giving me a room on the 2nd floor where I felt more comfortable as a solo. Many thanks to the wonderful bartender at the beach: I think Eric. Such a nice guy. All the staff was friendly, helpful, & very professional. Gracias to the reception , the cleaners, waiters, chefs, entertainment, shuttle driver, greeters in lobby, bartenders in upper bar & every employee. The renovations at the beach are coming along very well & will be beautiful. I hope my hubby can come with me next year to enjoy the new beach club! The Binniguenda is like coming home to family. Miss you all & please stay healthy until we can return. Love you !

    Had a great week here relaxing before having to return to the virus scares at home. Rooms are clean, grounds and gardens immaculate. All of the staff is very pleasant and helpful. Love Silvia at the omelette station. She seems to remember everyone's name and what they have ordered. Only ate a couple times at the pool snack bar but burgers were good. Drinks great. I especially liked the water refilling stations located throughout the hotel. Three different flavored waters also. Beach club will be awesome when it is done. Right now they are bringing food over from the hotel so what they have is what you get. One of the days we were there they had fish tacos and tuna salad. No restrooms but it seems like they have a deal with Dona Celia next door to use theirs. In return, they let their waiters walk through with menus. You can order from them and they will bring it to you. We ordered nachos one day from them. We never ate dinner at the hotel, instead ate in town every night but we did come and watch the shows and have a glass of wine a couple times. The entertainment staff is actually pretty good. We would definitely return here. Even tho it is AI, it is not much more than a standard non-AI hotel. I like that is it walkable to Santa Cruz and also La Crucesita via the pedestrian walkway.

    Just returned from another great week at this little boutique resort. The staff are always there to please & always remember your meal choices & of course drink choices. Our maids alway kept our room very clean everyday. Silvia is a real gem to this resort, always a smile & a "hola" every morning & always knowing how you like your eggs etc... The snack bar "boys" are the same... they remember what you like without ever asking... Julien at the lobby bar is another wonderful person at this resort, always pleasant & he knows what his customers want. Another amazing person is Lorenso.. he is the sweetest man ... always there taking care of you... However, I must mention some of the negatives.... We booked our vacay last June/19 & at the time of our request(with our travel agent) we requested a select room... emails where continually sent ... Upon our arrival on March 6th, we were not acknowledged of the reqest.. After much discussion we were finally given a Select Room... So I will say thank you for that. The front desk , needs some work with communication . We had asked for a extended late check out & then the hassle began... This miscommunication among the front desk staff varied. One young man whom spoke excellent English told us that check out was 12noon which we knew from many prior stays,but this time he told us that the bracelets would be cut off & we couldn't even have any food or drink & then had to buy it... we were so shocked by this. However, another young lady had the smarts to check our airline carrier & then informed him that bc we were Air Transat that we were infact entitled to keep our bracelets. WE had never hear of such nonsence before about bracelets. We were also told by the front desk that according to the manager that you know had to send a deposit to an account (which you would receive by email the account to which it was to be deposited), to hold a select room now because too many people would send emails to request a select room & then never take it... This totally shocked us... So in future we were told this is what to expect.. We asked to speak to the manager to have an extended checkout & were told to come back at 9am & when we did, we were then told he was in meetings. and no comp rooms are allowed. There needs to be some serious retraining in front desk communications... We have NEVER EXPERIENCE THIS FROM THIS RESORT BEFORE... We will be returning next year, however, I would like to hear clear communiation from Alejandro who responds to our trip reviews... So I would say.. then send me a private messaag about these clear problems. .. I will await to hear from you directly..

    Very nice hotel, but late buffet hours

    This hotel is very clean and continuously being maintained. All the staff here were always polite, friendly and accommodating. I can't say enough about the fabulous staff and service there. We stayed in a "Select" room which is ground floor with balcony and a fridge stocked daily with beer, juice and cola. The beds were very, very comfortable. We had no complaints about our room. The biggest let down was the food which we found under par for the price we paid....the vino blanco tasted like apple cider vinegar. We found it odd that the breakfast buffet did not open until 7:30 AM, lunch at 1:30 and the dinner buffet did not open until 7:30 PM which we found very late. Many people we met would go out to other restaurants for dinner even though they had paid for all inclusive meals. The pool was warm and well maintained with lots of comfortable seating around the patio. The snack bar at both the hotel and the beach club was up at the top of some awful steps which got very, very hot by 1 PM and there was not a lot of variety on the menu at either place.

    Just returned from another two week stay at the Binniguenda, we had a very warm welcome from check in , security, front desk, cleaning staff, grounds people, bartenders, kitchen/ dining room staff to the excellent entertainment crew whom do everything from daily pool activities, childeren centre, to the fantastic shows they preform in the evening.We would name them all but would not be fair if we omitted someone. Everyone"s hard work made our stay enjoyable and we are in the process of returning next year!! Once again thank you to all the staff behind the scenes cannot wait to visit next year when the new NIRU Beach Club is completed.
