Kahana reef is a condominium. Each condo is a one bedroom. Some condos have a pull out sofa in the living room. Some people live there and others rent out their condo so it's a quiet area. It's also gorgeous. It's ocean front (living room faces the ocean) with a small beach just north of the property. (Access is on the property. Each condo has a lanai. Also has a pool & two outdoor barbecues. The views every morning and evening are amazing. Some decorations are dated some aren't. We stayed in 216 & loved every bit of it.

We rented the condo with the knowledge that the condo complex was rebuilding a seawall. What I did not grasp was that this unit is set just a few feet from the staging are, and the actual wall repair. Adding to the very loud noise is the fact there's no ac, not a big deal with fans and great tradewinds, BUT this meand you have to keep windows and screen doors open. Attached are photos of the back deck, front entry and pool area. The project is scheduled ongoing through 2020, be aware and only rent here at a substantial discount, knowing it will be very loud during daylight hours is my advice.

We stayed in Kahana Reef #306 in April. The best thing about the condo is the view. Absolutely gorgeous view. The interior is a bit dated, but not bad. Could definitely use some updating. If you plan on cooking, all of the utensils are there, but you'll need to bring even the basics with you. (Salt/pepper/Oil etc). The weather was very nice, but be aware that most of these units don't have A/C, but there is a nice breeze through the condo. The condo's location is in a great area between Napili and Lahaina, so it's convenient on the west side of Maui.

One of the best locations we found on Maui. The corner unit has a great view of the ocean. Everything you need is in the unit. It is very clean and ready for your arrival. Just kick back and enjoy the view and watch the turtles and whales.

Nice quiet complex, a bit of old Maui well kept grounds and nice pool and bbq area by pool. Close to activity but removed enough for private quiet relaxation. Golf and shopping all within 10 min drive. Great view of ocean from rooms
