Our stay was great. The hotel was Grand and the view was beautiful. All the employees were friendly. We were only able to stay for 2 days and we both wished it was longer. We would definitely stay again.

I had a room for my last night on the Big Island. I had been staying in Hilo previously. I had a lovely spacious room, overlooking the south side of the property. Dinner at Don's Beachcomber was delicious. I sat overlooking Kailua Bay, lights from the town sparkling on the water. My waittress (Denise?) was attentive, accommodating, friendly. It was a perfect way to end my Big Island vacation.

Wonderful location in the heart of tourist town...and on the water. Hotel Room 319 is a corner with 2 balconies overlooking the ocean and the luau stage. Saw the entire show from the room. Close to everything. Excellent resort with condos and hotel options.

We are Diamond Resort Club member. Rashi gave us free champagne upon check-in. We stayed at the main tower in room 523. Royal Kona staff, Ryan and Ed were very helpful. Beds were comfortable. We loved our breathtaking partial Ocean and partial Mountain View. We enjoyed listening to the waves hitting the lava rocks at night and be able to watch a free luau show from our lanai. Royal Kona has a restaurant and bar, a walking distance to shops, restaurants and farmer’s market. I can’t rate them 5 star because it has no beach access, and our room was too cold (thermostat was not working) and it need some update

What a gem and definitely Royal:):):)

Been in Kona twice now and will never think twice of staying somewhere else, but in this amazing place only. The staff are friendly/super helpful and the location OMG it is sooooooooo close to everything...Get an ocean view to watch the sunset or another way is just sit/relax, sip your maitai at Don's Mai Tai's Bar while watching the sunset is also a must - the view is just postcard spectacular! And listening to the waves crashing into the rocks at night was like listening to a lullaby. I am already missing this place just writing about this here hahaha. I truly hope that I can make another trip back to this place sooner than later:)
