This place is simply laughable while lauding themselves as 4 star luxurious. I would have truly left on day one had a conference not inflated the other hotel prices along the strip. From being downgraded rooms on checking in and then finding vomit and blood on the bed, this experience was disgusting from the moment we arrived. The cleaning staff actually used a square white sticker to try and cover a rip and stain on the duvet. Not kidding, a square white sticker so that hopefully you wouldn't notice the colored stain. After the vomit/blood experience we were "upgraded” to one of the top floor rooms with a view of the strip; however, it only contained a bed. No sitting chair, no coffee maker, no fridge, no nothing we booked ... nothing... simply a bed and a 60’s style closet with bad lighting. It did have a very nice shared door so we could clearly enjoy the loud company of the party in the room beside us....How lovely, thanks for that! Their compensation for such a remarkably horrendous experience was to offer 2 nights free for our next visit to the Delano. Gee, thanks, but never going to happen. If you are someone who is accustomed to an actual 4 or 5 star amenities, please, do not stay here. You will be very disappointed in the money you have wasted. You would find a better experience staying at the Holiday Inn, a block off the strip, instead of the Delano.

Nice hotel but really basic service

I’ve been few times in this hotel, but it seems every year they get a bit worser. I always attend an international show taking place at the Mandalay Bay therefore I prefer this tower where they offer a more quite atmosphere. In the past two years when I checked in I always found something wrong from the reservation made, in fact last February instead of a room with two queen beds They reserved a room with one king bed!! I alway travel with my brother and this wasn’t a good option, also because the hotel was full and they couldn’t change it!!

    Best hotel

This has been by far the best hotel my family and I have stayed in. Hotel is clean, rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, and the smell once you walk in to the hotel is unforgettable! If anyone can tell me what scent it is, I would appreciate it. Amenities for the hotel are wonderful and please dine in at the restaurant upstairs which also has amazing food.

Seriously the best hotel in Vegas

This hotel is great. Just a few steps from the strip and walking distance to other attractions and restaurants. No gambling in the hotel itself so nice and quite at the end of the evening. Staff goes out of their way to enhance your stay.

Almost perfect. The location is just so far down at the south end of the strip.

This was not where we were supposed to stay (or even wanted to, for that matter.) We had an issue at another hotel/condo and had to find a place to stay in a hurry. I did an Express Deal on a travel site and ended up getting Delano (we were hoping for Aria or something more towards city center.) That being said, I was very happy with the stay. Check-in was a breeze! The suite is very large. Pretty close in size to a Four Seasons suite and definitely larger than the standard Palazzo suite (but not as large as their Grand 1BR suite.) The room was clean and simply/minimally decorated.) The living room had a couch (with strange armrests) and a few chairs for sitting. A desk was available for working, if needed (laptop hookups etc...) Another neat feature is the button/light for Do-not-disturb, housekeeping, etc. How convenient! No more messing with signs on knobs. The actual bedroom had a HUGE headboard, another chair for sitting, two nightstands with power receptacles, luggage rack, and a small table. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable mattresses I can remember. Head and shoulders above most hotel beds. The main bathroom (there are two) was great. A small toilet room off the main bath. The tub was big, however, we did not use it. The shower is a modern glass/marble affair, not huge - but adequate. And, there was a magical thing that most marble showers don't have in them and I fell must be pointed out - a foot rest! It was great. One small gripe: The shower handle for controlling temperature is easily bumped, so I found my water temp constantly varying, a minor thing for sure and a non-issue if you are short. My wife used the spa one day and it was very nice. Typical MGM pricing on services. She did arrive thirty minutes ahead of time, as they requested, and she had quite a wait until her treatment. If you book a service, access to the spa areas is included for the rest of that day. As far as restaurants go, there are plenty in the complex. The easiest one to get to was Della's, right off the lobby. I had breakfast there three out of four days. I never had a bad meal. The steak and eggs were top-notch. The chicken and waffles were very good as well. The custard cakes are some of the best pancakes I've had anywhere. It's not the cheapest eats, but worth it for convenience and quality. Check-out was very easy, they have kiosks to do it yourself, but we were showing some charges that weren't ours from the stupid weight-sensored mini bar (I hate these things with a passion.) The desk kindly removed the charge and we were on our way. In all, this is a great place to stay - I just wish that it was a bit closer to city center. The tram to Excalibur helps a little, but it's a journey to get to Bellagio or Linq (even using the monorail) Having stayed at Mandalay Bay, Four Seasons, and Delano - I would take the value of Delano if there was a large difference in price versus Four Seasons. The experience is going to be very similar. I would recommend Delano, particularly if you need to be in the South Strip area.
